Reading stuff around Blizzcon, I feel like I am the only one unhappy about DF being included with TWW. Don’t get me wrong, this fantastic for new players and I am happy that it could bring more people and all.
But my point is, they can buy TWW now and get DF for free, which isn’t even finished. Meanwhile we who have been playing for a while will have to buy both ?
I mean, not like it bothers me much, but i kinda feel scammed, at least give us a discount or something.
Or maybe I misunderstood something ? Like if people who only buy TWW wouldn’t be able to play until it is out, IDK.

the last I don’t know how many expansions everything previous was free, this is no change.
You bought DF, everything up to SL was free and it goes back
This is purely for people buying the game for the very first time so they have everything ready to go and don’t have to worry about which xpacs they need to buy etc, it’s all there.

Yeah I know and agree with that, but that wasn’t my point. I only talk about the remaining time of DF. Of course once it has ended it should be included.
But anyway seems I am the only one thinking that out, so I guess I am wrong, no problem.
Stuff lose value over time. DF will be completely free when TWW launches, and we’re probably at least halfway there. People have no incentive to buy DF full price at this point. There were bundles in the past like SL+DF that were less expensive than buying each expansion individually, but I guess they weren’t that well received.
I checked the store and DF costs 30 euro now, although if you want to buy it now you might as well be tempted to buy it with TWW.
Last time you couldn’t preorder DF without having SL. There was a bundle of SL + preorder DF but it cost more than just DF for those that already had SL.
Right now TWW preorder costs the same for everyone, and those who don’t have DF can get it included with this.
Aah so they are able to this time get DF immediately upon purchase instead of having to wait for the physical launch of the next expansion.
Bout time they included this tbh, it was always rly dumb when u had to buy the prior expansion for the last month of its life span just to get caught up before the next launch haha

I’m playing since the start of expansion i already collect most of the DF stuff there is did 2 whole season of gaming cleared raid multiple times on many characters

If someone just joins DF right now that person is like 1 year behind me so let him have free DF
It’s a case of you got to play it for the past 2 years and they didn’t. If you waited for everything to be available without buying then you may as well not play the game until it is finally ending.
I think this is down to the less than stellar sells of DF originally. They want to bring in players now. If those players start subs then we all win, Bliz get more cash (as anyone who hasn’t bought DF yet was unlikely ever to as ti has also been on a sale at some stage) and we get more players in game which makes the world feel more populated and alive.

We bought DF and have been playing for like 1 year+.
What blizzard wants to do with preorders is capitalize on the hype to bring players into the game (so that those that preorder the game also join DF).
If you feel that you got scammed playing DF for 2 seasons, cause people that preorder the next expansion get to also play the last patch of DF, then it sounds like the only way to not get scammed is to not play the game.
