King Varian is missing from the Stormwind Keep throne room. I am trying to complete the wrath of the lich king classic death knight starting campaign, like a lot of other death knights. Is this a bug?
Dunno perhaps the Scourge event took him, or the server lags…

There is an achivement to kill all the alliance leaders and you get a bear mount.
Nope folks, it happened in 2008 as well, all leaders are missing, is by design.
I opened a similar thread about this Horde side, we either wait a week for them to reappear together as part of the event or blizz needs to fix it.
In the original event, Varian used to go with Bolvar to the port of Storwind. Take a good look around that area.

Due to the Scourge Invasion the King Is at the Harbor by the lion statue. Sometimes ppl can’t interact or hand in the quest to the king, just wait around and keep trying to hand in, it usually works after a while.
Zombie or some raidgroup killed him for achievement
Maybe stuck in queue
