Korok the Colossus doesnt show up

I have a huge problems finding an npc for a quest. I made a ticket and the GM have asked me to make a post here to get help from the community.

I made a new account to become a complitionist and involved in that is doing every quest in the game.

I done all the quests in Silverpine Forest so far except for Korok the Colossus. I am supposed to kill him and he drops his head and the head is the quest item that start the quest. I have read all about this quest by googling and people at wowhead are having issues with turning in the quests. This is an outdated issue as he has been hotfixed for turning in the quest.

I have problems finding him in the first place. All information I have read online says he is supposed to stand in front of the wall between Gilneas and Silverpine where there is a huge crack in the wall. He is not there. I have also roamed the area for a lot and I have never been able to see him.

The zone also seems phased out. There are no npcs in the zone except critters. I have invited some few people from newcomers chat to help me. And party syncing with any of them doesnt work.

Please help. I must do this quest.

Did you read this comment? It sounds like your case:

If you want to do this quest, but you’ve already completed the campaign, you won’t be able to complete it as is, but don’t panic!

I created a level 10 on the trial version, then I started the zone series in the Silverpine Forest, beginning with The Warchief Cometh https://www.wowhead.com/quest=26965/the-warchief-cometh.

Once I reached quest Losing Ground https://www.wowhead.com/quest=27333/losing-ground), I grouped the character who needed this quest and activated sync.

Then, I killed Korok the Colossus https://www.wowhead.com/npc=45301/korok-the-colossus, and went in front of Deathguard Podrig https://www.wowhead.com/npc=6389/deathguard-podrig; you won’t see them, so you need to ungroup.

And there you go! My ATT for Ruins of Gilneas https://www.wowhead.com/zone=4706/ruins-of-gilneas is at 100%

Notes

This suggests that the lowbie you Party Sync with has to be at a particular point in the campaign.

Yes I am fully aware. I have not been able this week to find anyone who are at this stage in the campaign, or anyone who are willing to progress to this point for me. So unless someone here who know they are at the right point in the Silverpine campaign, the party sync thing is a dead end to me.

But he explains how to do it yourself - no other person needed.

You create a second WoW account on your BettleNet account. You do not need to pay for this.

You create your alt on this account, and get to thet point in the chain.

Then you Party Sync with yourself.

I understand. Wouldnt it be easier though for the GM to phase me out momentarily just so I can find the NPC? There is quite a lot of playing that has to be done in order to get to that point on a new character.

Sorry, I have no idea what the GM can do in this situation, or how easy it is.

Thats totally fair. I am at the moment doing the storyline again now on a new character. Spent most of the day on it and I will see how the partysync works this time.
