Indeed.
I remember everyone gathered up together having fun, fighting legion invasions.
My GM from this guild, back in vanilla, put the following message:
“PVP is only fun when you win”.
Probably he was a bit frustrated because some of his officers (guilty here) were more concerned doing Bg’s than helping in guild activities.
I must say he was right back than and he’s right even today.
After all the imbalance problems Alliance (in general) and Horde (RP realms) faced in war mode, who thought that this was a good idea tbh ?
I haven’t turned war mode on a single time this expansion, as I disliked the overall theme, and how it was introduced. But if War mode is anything like Korrack’s revenge, it’s no wonder the Alliance complains all the time.
Honestly, I would lie, if I would say I don’t like 100% victories, but last time I checked Korrack’s revenge isn’t a warfront.
It has 40 players in each side and at the end someone’s going to win and someone going to get mad, especially if they are on losing side all the time.
Games are made so people have fun.
What part of “fun” Activision Blizzard doesn’t understand, is beyond me.
If they keep insisting in this formula of crossing PVP with PVE, I am afraid more people will quit.
If we look at Korrack’s revenge, that’s exactly what it is.
Leveling:PVE + AV: PVP.
Than we have Warmode exp bonus and rewards.
Where was the time when PVP and PVE servers were separated ? Gone now.
Surely there’s a section of players that enjoy raiding and PVP.
But there’s also players that only enjoy PVP 24/7 or PVE only, like my case.
Agree.
Got to keep those $$$ coming, otherwise, investors will not be happy.
That’s why I leveled up every single one of my alts including one character I brought from deletion.
Honestly scaling for me can be translated in to: “spending more time hitting a mob, for the same rewards.”
You never know what new “bright” ideas they may come with SL.
I still remember, non documented changes, to the game, that none asked for, as mobs scaling with your ILV gear in BFA zones.
Will I be able to explore MoP zones as a level 50 as I can do now as level 120 ?
I honestly don’t think so.
For me there’s a huge difference between being a level 120 and hitting a level 90 mob and being a level 50 hitting a level 35.
Which can be translated in to: more time hitting mobs to collect the same rewards, again.
I just hope I am wrong …
Cheers.
