So this is probably a stupid question, since the Legion hasn’t actually disappeared, but I’m curious.
Krona kai cristorr/Chronakai kristor/whatever, as you know, is a Draenei salute that means “the Legion will fall”. Since the Legion has pretty much fallen, at least for the time being, that phrase doesn’t make sense anymore. So I’m wondering if Draeneis have stopped saying it, or if it might have become a custom, something they have said for such a long time that they stick with it. They don’t seem the kind of people who would do that, though.
So, I’d like to hear your thoughts on the matter because I’ve been avoiding that phrase like the Plague.
In instances where you’re not RPing before their fall, I suppose you would still use it, but in the present day, you could somehow create a phrase that means “The Legion has fallen”.
Perhaps there are Draenei phrases that include ‘has’ in the game somewhere you could use, and you could modify cristorr (fall) in some way to mean fallen. Maybe “Cristorr’ul”, since ‘Krok’ul’ means ‘Broken’.

Hmm, according to Wowpedia, the most probable way of conveying a past tense would be “-nai”, though that’s also only seen in nouns. Also, “Cristorrnai” sounds awful.

The plural of Draenei is Draenei. 1 Draenei, 2 Draenei.
I agree with Octogoblin in that there should probably be a new phrase. Then again Blood Elves should probably stop saying “Remember the Sunwell” as it is constantly radiating Light into their souls now so kinda hard to forget.
I think it’s “Kroku-” (Krok?) which might be the word that means fallen. One of the zones on Argus (which is also inhabited by Krokul) is called Krokuun, and it’s pretty much a land that is nothing like how it used to be. A fallen and broken land, much like people living on it.
There are two big problems with the draenei language and that’s inconsistency and improvisation. Back when they were introduced in the burning crusade, pretty much all the conlang energy went into their blood elf rivals. As such, the draenei language was left incomplete with a deluge of untranslated words.
Some of these phrases were fleshed out over time in askdev segments that were pretty clearly made up on the fly and we ended up with inconsistencies like Light being both Sha and Pheta.
Krona kai cristorr is basically a nonsense phrase without internal grammatical structure. It’s not an easy thing to rewrite, it being easier to treat it like a general statement of hope like “we shall survive our foes” and if we’re being nitpicky, the Legion still exists albeit diminished with control over an untold number of planets. The Legion can also be a term for tetriary foes tied to the demonic host like the Argus Wake, Scourge and orcs in general if so inckined.
For general purpose greetings I recommend achal hecta (good day), archenon poros (good fortune) and acheon kor (?), an untranslated greeting used by player character voice emotes and some npcs.
