There are many that are now confident that the next Horde allied race will be Vulpera. Which, as an Alliance player, I really hope comes true as I'd like to massacre them all. (8.1 SPOILERS: Broadcast text strongly suggest they'll join the Horde)
But it begs the question: what will be the Alliance counterpart? Some think it will be the Sethrak but it's highly unlikely as they would share their Island with then two Horde races and their own zone with one of them.
I think that the most likely choice is K'thir. Possibly tied to the Crucible of Storms raid in 8.1 the people of Stormsong Valley become afflicted with the curse, but Alleria and Umbric help them overpower the old gods that control them. And the Draenei help them cope with their new tentacle beards.

Dear Neptulon, why?!
About the topic - unlikely. They've been presented as purely hostile beings, fully pledged to Azshara and the Void. I doubt the Alliance will be getting yet another race all about the Void.
Anyhow, if it comes to pass, then that:

Makes sense.
But that:

Is offensive!
I hope not. I mean, we already have Void Elves and Worgen in Stormwind City, add to them the K'thir (because, as every Allied Race, they would have a place in the capital city), and Stormwind would just look ridiculous.
This is merely an aesthetic reason. K'thir don't fit at all in the Alliance, they would feel way too out of place. Are we the Alliance, or the Black Empire 2.0? I thought that the Horde was supposed to be the ugly faction with disgusting misfits.

The boy king serves at the master's table.

Then we should all rejoice. Perhaps High-King Anduin (he is the High-King of the entire Alliance), in his brilliance, will be able to redeem Old Gods and make them realize that their twisted ways based on slavery and corruption are wrong. Just wait, soon even the OId Gods won't be able to resist Anduin's Human Potential™.

I'm sure that Halford Wyrmbane will be happy to have even more denizens of the Void that will prove themselves to be valuable to the Alliance in the trying days ahead!

Well, the void is where every member of the horde goes after they die anyway, so why not speed up the process a bit? Umbric did nothing wrong.

They are vermin, Halasibel. Vermin have no other purpose other than to be eradicated.
I think it's an interesting idea, they could work like the Worgen, switching at will from K'thir to Human form, becoming K'thir during combat.
Also K'thir use forsaken skeleton which is the same used by thin humans, we'll have the thin human model playable that during combat turn into K'thir.
The same could be done with the Drustvar Humans turning them into Wickermen during combat.
But probably we'll get some robotic gnomes...
U are right, every Crash Bandicoot must fall !
