I was curious i am hoping Kul tiran Human shamans could transmog swords.
because i would be awesome and i think i would make sense.
pirate like human wielding a mace or axe doesn’t do it for me.
so i am really hoping at one point shamans could use swords too. to make it more clear shamans(means all shamans not only kul tiran)
what are your thoughts about this

Nope, there are no race specific exceptions.
Shamans have never been able to use swords, and they aren’t gonna change it for just one race.
Want a pirate Kul Tiran? Play Outlaw rogue, they are more pirate-y to begin with.

i don’t wanne play a pirate i just think it is weird shamans are the only class that can wield swords
Priests and Druids can’t wear swords either.

no but they also do not have axes, and wands. the point is.
you can transmog a axe or mace into a sword. but not with shamans. there even is a mace that looks like a sword, but no you can not transmog swords or wield swords. that is just weird
You can transmog a mace into a sword or axe if you can actually wield it, yes.

They have never been able to wield swords, and they’re never gonna be able to wield swords either, and they will not make it moggable if you can’t equip it.
There is a reason as to why every class can’t wield every weapon type (except warriors), and that’s so every class wouldn’t fight over every weapon that dropped, and they still want it this way.

For shamans axes are most badas.s mogs ever. Shaman with sword is like rogue with 2h mace… not gonna happen. You can still mog into daggers, there are some daggers which look like pirate cutlass i have 2 on my mog inventory. https://www.wowhead.com/item=154217/pearly-white-jackknife
this one is example.

Which sword is that? Also why do you want kul tirans shamans to equip swords in particular? I mean if you want a pirate just roll a rogue lol
No, it’s a mace that looks like a sword, that’s very different.
They are more for fun than anything, but I suppose I’m wrong and you’re right.
Because you could never be wrong, amirite?
There’s a polearm that looks like a staff.
Does that mean staff users can wield polearms soon!?
Well rogues couldn’t use axes till WotLK so i wish you will get your swords one day ![ ](https://d1bg94bbsh66ji.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/wink.png?v=6)

thank you,
glad some one just gave a normal reply.
most people are trolling on the forum and point out they are right and every one is wrong.
i only asked for thoughts not huge discussion.
You mean like you?
All I ever did was mention that they won’t give it to them, and as to why they haven’t, and won’t be, able to use them.
Sure, if they add it to shamans, fine, it doesn’t really bother me in any way if they change it, I’d welcome it, even if it’s just for transmog.
I’d love to have certain polearms as moggable on my warlock (mainly those heckin’ kewl scythes).
Sorry If I came off as a troll though, wasn’t my intention. ![:stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:](https://d1bg94bbsh66ji.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/stuck_out_tongue.png?v=12)

Out of curiosity? Is there any legit fitting mog for Kul’Tirans? I assume they’ll be the Alliance version of Tauren Paladins. To work really hard to get anything look fitting on them.
