I decided I wanted to make a Kul Tiran about a week ago I’ve come back to WoW after about 4 years away.
I completed “The Loremaster of Kul Tiras” and have moved onto “The Pride of Kul Tiras” I’m now at the first dungeon and I don’t think I can solo it as a level 52 Mage. I don’t enjoy dungeons I dislike them so much I usually just stop playing games once content is gated behind them.
Can I use one of my level 48 character boosts to create a new character to complete the next Achievements or does everything have to be done on the Mage? By complete I mean make a class that has an easier time soloing things? If so what’s going to have the easiest time soloing the dungeons in the Kul Tiran unlock? Will it be doable at level 50 on a character with solo ability?
You must complete The Pride of Kul Tiras all on one character, and that character does not have to be the one that completed Loremaster. I checked on an alt of mine that has not completed Loremaster, and the quest to start The Pride of Kul Tiras is available. So if you have done Loremaster on any character, any other can pick up the quest line.
However, there are a couple of other things.
Scaling makes things bizarre. You will not be able to pick up gear enabling you to solo dungeons at 50 easily now. There is no LFR running, or M+, so your best bet is to continue to 60 before trying. However, because of the sheer wrongness of scaling, it’s actually harder to solo BfA content at 60 than it was at 50.
Two of the dungeons you need for Kul Tirans can’t be soloed, regardless of power, because a boss in them mind-controls one of the party, and if you are the only one, you will be mind-controlled.
This is a problem.
I will send a character with you, if we coordinate a time to do them over the next week or so. Post again when you’re on, or post a time when you will be on. I keep an eye on this forum, so will see it. Will be a little irregular over Christmas, but with a little patience we’ll find a time.
Thank you for your very detailed response and your offer of help. My play time’s are irregular. Generally a few hours Saturday mornings a few hours Saturday afternoons. Sunday 10am to 2 pm and then about 7pm to 10pm. Every weekday evening from about 8:30 to 10pm
I really do suck at dungeons and MMO responsibility. Those times are UK so I think the server is still an hour in front but I’m not totally sure. I will offer gold for your help if and when you’re able. I was going to try trade chat as worse case scenario.
