Kyrian only real viable option for aoe dmg

I started doing mythics 0 with my havoc yesterday, i was the second best dps in the run and the first was another havoc with exactly the same ilvl as me, he surpassed my dmg done by 500k and 493k dmg of that was done by the aoe kyrian ability, i am venthyr, is it really my only option to scrap all my progress with venthyr and convert to Kyrian?
I dont like this at all.

Swapping is risky right now, Devs are on vacation atm but they can still see all the data,etc after they are back.I think there is big balance hotfix after new year coming so you can wait a a week or two im sure.

Thats a good thought but damn 2 weeks is a long time to be doing 500k less dmg per run.

You will be stronger on ST and don’t be shy to use meta on CD every bigger pack. If you can line meta up for bosses good (have to know dungeon well for this) Don’t just save it for bosses destroy those trash pulls with it. Tanks will love the dmg reduction you provide with brand :slight_smile:

But yes Kyrian is strongest in M+ dont be fooled.

To be fair, I wouldn’t swap just because of the AOE damage. Havoc is fine on AOE if you plan your cooldowns properly. We are struggling on ST and removing venthyr will affect your single target dps. It’s just my opinion. I’d also check to see the world’s best Havocs and then do any final changes. Most people use venthyr/night fae for dps and Kyrian is more for tanking to keep the aggro up. That’s what I have seen at least.

Meh im sure kyrian will get nerfed since its giving such advantage to vengeance too. I like being venthyr i rather get something to boost my ST damage than be a trash cleaner :smiley: I do fine in aoe damage even without the kyrian and topping dps against same geared guildies. ST is the issue.

I feel like necrolord dh is underated, with high enough stats that comes with item lvl it can perform great.

Thanks for all the advices, its true we have nice aoe dmg, i will keep venthyr and focus on getting better.
