Lack of new creepy zones

I would love to see more creepy zones again, in the likes of duskwood darkshire (pre-cata), western & eastern plaguelands, etc … I notice that these are the zones, that are most memorable and are the ones that ‘stick’ when you recollect memories from a certain time you used to quest in. They are def in my most favorite zones!

It’s sad really creepy zones like this, haven’t been added much anymore in recent expansions. Atleast not as creepy as the likes of duskwood and plaguelands. The modern “creepy” maps and attempts, really don’t compare. I for one, would LOVE to see more of these!

Maldraxxus and Korthia: Am I a joke to you?

Duskwood and drustvar both awesome but drustvar is just perfect. Ravendreth is cool but it have again too much that goth feeling for being wow zone. Maldraxus feels like birthdaycake version of old plague lands and well Bastion feels like well we run out colours too clean. Even its not dark theme zone but its creepy because of that

NO.

Wth?! Shadowlands has been nothing BUT creepy zones. What ARE you talking about?!

Ooooh weekend troll thread. I get it. Nvm.

I’m not sure if the Wow Development team have it in them to create a truly creepy zone like Duskwood or Plaguelands.

The game is more “Commercial” now than it was back when those zones were created. And with the increased commercialism, the true art in the game has vanish.

I think Revendreth is as Creepy as you are going to see anymore in this game.

“Creepy” sounds like a childish word honestly. Maybe that is why they do not cause any emotions like this to me. But I agree, the game lacks the zones that are fear-inspiring and disgusting.

Plenty of that in Shadowlands.

Old tirisfall glades and undercity were really cool those have that right feeling, zul’drak in northrend also really nice dark theme

I guess I am not sensitive enough then for them.

i guess he never meant creepy like mxx or korthia but some really beautiful like duskwood and drustvar

New zones Ardenweld also have nice amoumt dark theme but its too blue and could have more putple shade. And it blink too much like chritmas tree where is just too much lights

Drustvar was awesome!

I really want some beautiful zones again. Nice nature. Sun. Lush. Exotic stuff. Things like that. After all this time in these Shadowlands zones I’m done with gloom and doom.

Indeed, really really loved that zone and did the leveling there many times during BFA.

I guess Maldraxxus and Revendreth and the Maw are supposed to be creepy, but they just dont do it for me. They lack the atmosphere somewhat.

you know? i agree. i like things like stormsong or feralas or nagrand or gryzzly hills. i didnt like bfa but the zones (part of them) were gorgeous.

true. mxx was one of my least preferred zone. it was a crossbread between felwood and shadowmoon TBC.

Dungeons stratholme and scholomance in plaguelands are nice dark theme too. Stratholme losing points when you go inside castle thats when it lose that feeling cause its too clean. Waycrest Mansion prob best dark themed instance in whole game. Underreot is also cool but it have same problem what most new areas have its too rotten and it ruins it

But most creepiest zone in wow going to be that zareth what ever in 9.2 cause its not single bit wow it not fit to anything in wow its wrong piece of puzzle. Its nice and looks good but first thing that comes my mind is that ok Jailer and dk abduin went to disneyland only Mickey mouse and rest of Disney chars are missing
