Any thoughts on why that is? Do you think blizzard is trying to drive home the fact that this isnt azeroth/draenor or another reason?
I think draka is the only orc we have seen in the shadowlands. Also no ogres at all.
There’s one ogre spirit in Revendreth, and at least a few orcs I found in Bastion. Otherwise, I think this is because of the implication that the limitless Shadowlands has at least one afterlife dedicated solely to orcs, which is where Durotan is waiting for Draka.

Also i could see them doing a patch where they add another zone which has a bunch of draenor souls , arrakoa/saberon.etc.
If you are demonically possessed, I don’t think your soul goes to the Shadowlands. Instead I think you get “disenchanted” if in the presence of the Twisting Nether, and sent to the Twisting Nether to be reborn otherwise.
Orcs and Ogres, to a large extent, both are.

by that logic draka should have went to the twisting nether aswell because she has green skin, i dont think thats how it works.
and why there is not so much trolls in the shadowlands ?

orcs was just invaders from another planet
they are not so important in the realm of death
they are as important as any other race, also the logic behind the troll souls is that bwonsambi has been hiding them from muahzela who wants to send them to the maw
Draka is also the only orc I’ve seen, but I see a fair share of nameless orc souls hanging out. I haven’t gone around looking for specific races though. Saw a goblin soul in Bastion which made me smile. Saw Warbrave Oro there, too. Tbh, I’m glad there aren’t a lot of orcs and ogres. That’s just my opinion.
She got exposed to fel magic, she did not herself embrace the fel.
She is green, but not a slave to Mannoroth.
but orcs originally came from the world draenor to conquer azeroth right
so yeah. by your logic and many many deaths should be there alot of orcs and alot of humans allso ^^
trolls on the other hand. they were special. they ruled the old world
i mean the whole WoW world. they knew magic they was nice and cool
even before sundering there were like 6 big clans of trolls all over the azeroth

demons go to the twisting nether, i dont think most green orcs qualify as demons, in the audio drama it for legion it even states that guldan was not a demon , not quite.
I think the more likely reason is that their is a realm of the shadowlands that a majority of draenor souls go to, probably the reason we havent seen many notable orcs like durotan or grom
There’s several orc spirits hanging around Bastion doing absolutely nothing, because they can’t get on with their trials or something.
As well as gnomes, humans, goblins, draenei etc etc… The randomized no-name spirits that are just standing around.
Yes but Shadowlands is not only for the dead of Azeroth, it is for all dead no matter the world. However they don’t depict that well enough, there should be more races in Shadowlands, even races we haven’t seen yet, the diversity should be huge. Sadly in game we only see mostly souls from Azeroth…

A lot of orc and tauren spirits in Bation and Ravendreft. Maldraxus souls are routinely not human too.
Anyone seen Saurfang and his boy? I know thst mankirs wife is about,but havnt seen Saurfang…

saurfang died after the shadowlands broke so unfortunately hes probably in the maw…
If you rember when you did that part you up there Arbiter its you see alot of “gates” floating around, so we can only enter 4, but Shadowlands It´s bigger.
some of the orc souls are stuck in their ongoing Path in Bastion. some are already visibly Kyrian i bet (i had one thats memories showed they were a tauren in the past, but was blue human looking with wings)
i saw a fair few in the maw, probably from the last (4th) war
i think the reason we havent seen anything but the 4 main covenant races is simply because, we (the players) havent been there yet.
we only started getting the covenant NPCs about in Oribos when we players progressed along the story.
so the moment we meet another map area, those NPCs would start ariving in Oribos again. after all, its WE players who get them to open the pathways to get to other map zones. Their Denizens cant make it to Oribos if we dont get the pathways opend in the Between
