Lag in the sand dune rares, especially Iska (Iska, Marzan, Damaris)

Please.

Increase the spawnrate for the rares or the drop chance of the mount. There’s thousands of players camping for the rares across the servers, and when you finally get into a grp, it’s an lagfest and your character is stuck there for 30 minutes. You might not even get the kill for the rare and have to do it all again and hope for the best.

There’s so many ppl because

  1. only rare in the zone (- the fishing rare) that drops a mount
  2. they drop 246 weapons that I’d assume are upgrades for a lot of ppl and/or alts.

Do something. This is not ok.

Think there’s lag everywhere in all the zones at the moment!

Your first line pretty much says.

Do you want this content finished in 5 days? Because that way the zones will be empty and all of Blizzes hard work would have been wasted.

If you’re complaining about Lag, that’s certainly a creative way of doing it.

Solutions:

  1. Don’t play during Peak times
  2. Join a lower population server
  3. Get a faster internet connection.
  4. Stop complaining that desirable items have a low drop rate.

Ok, I’m sorry, read the title then before reading the post. And/or read anything past the first sentence. My bad.

Seems that you’re not getting the point. Because the rares spawn too infrequently, and have desirable drops, that means when someone makes a group for it, there’s instantly like 200 ppl queing into it and it lags out the server.

1.Server pop doesn’t matter. (in this case)
2.Internet connection doesn’t matter. (in this case)
3.Playing on non peak times does matter, but suggesting not to play then is foolish.
4. I’m not complaining about desirable items having low drop rate. Please if you don’t get this then I have nothing else to say to you.

Best solution imo would be to just increase the spawntimer for the rares.

I rest my case, go ahead and say something clever because you seem like a guy who needs to have the last word. I’m waiting.

I think the lag will be considerably better when season 3 comes out, people have nothing new to do beside Zereth Mortis, once season 3 comes out people will be in dungeons and the raid and the amount of population will go a lot lower than it is currently.

It is a bit silly we still live in an age were the servers cannot handle a handful of the playerbase can’t group up to kill a rare without it affecting the server stability.

Just use the LFG Tool and Custom Search the Rare that you want. There is usually one up on a realm somewhere and if it’s not then you don’t usually have to wait for it for long.

There are only 2 Rares which I have needed to wait for, one I killed this morning and the other I have not seen at all yet.

Beyond using LFG Tool, part of the challenge of them is waiting for them to spawn. It’s not so much the wait itself, it’s organising yourself and your time and location to be in the right place at the right time.

They wouldn’t be “rare” if the spawn timer was just increased xD

I have experienced no lag in ZM, and not in the same way you get lag during a SL World Boss.
