Lag on Raids / M+ Dungeons

Hi all, looking for help in figuring out what on earth is creating such high latency spikes on Nexus King mythic prog fight. I’ve now encountered the same issue on two weeks in a row. After progging 1 hour or so, I start to get major latency spikes taking my somewhat okish 35-40ms to 2500ms or more. I do not understand what is causing this.

I monitored this with a ping plotter. and I got huge constant spikes while WoW was on and then it stabilized after I closed the program.

I have 1000mb internet connection and Mac Studio M4 with latest OS26. The game runs otherwise smoothly without issues.

Anyone have any guidance how to approach solving this?

or some keyboard/mouse software/driver you have on your OS

and memory leak is not internet issue

thank you for these, i will check those out. and thank you for noting it’s a memory leak. i just thought lag is usually caused by internet connection but in this case i do understand how the memory leak results in huge spikes in latency and jitter.

let’s hope the fixes proposed there will help out.

to be clear, so when you exit and open WoW it goes away ? and then comulates again ?
I was tired when I did read it first time(i misread ping with FPS :D), but for me when you close/open software and it is fixed it is “type of memory leak”

check next time FPS/framerate too

Yes typically it goes away after stopping playing wow. I still get 3000 ms lag in raids and dungeons. Running the script mentioned did not help. I’m totally lost what is causing this :frowning:

Typically it happens in very intense fights and I’m smashing by mouse buttons like crazy.
