Had a nice little plot, until the grass was removed.
Now there are large areas of grass wallpaper on the ground, just looks so false.
Whereas I used to like spending a little time there now it’s just not the same, so I tend not to bother.
Just wondering what other players think.

I also preferred my lot when we had the gras “bug”.
But the grass clips thru all the objects, upsetting those so actually invested in making the garden look tidy and clean.
Maybe, if Blizzard didn’t make the grass like 2 m tall it would be a compromise - or even better give us a toggle or a slider for the grass.
Or when you place an object (if it can be done) the grass in that spot isn’t visible.
I personally didn’t like the long grass bug as it didn’t fit the style as I was going for. But I see that in some builds it was really fitting. The problem was the clipping through objects.
A slider would be nice so you can have it as a choice for those who want it.
A slider (toggle?) wouldn’t get rid of the problem of grass clipping through.
If it can be done, then placing an object that essentially removes/hides (invisible) the grass where the object is placed would be a better option.
The problem with having no grass at all, is you end up with a grass wallpaper on land you could play snooker on. The grass breaks that up a bit.
Failing that they could bring out grasses (items) that you can add to the land but there would have to be quite a few different ones even of the same type (sold via an NPC), so you didn’t have to add 50 of the same item, which would also look incredibly false.
That’s indeed a problem. Ideally if I wanted a natural overgrown look I would use garden clusters and scale them down. But then you would need a lot of them and no matter how small you make them, they will cost 5 points each which eats away your total very fast. So that’s not really a option.
It would be nice if they brought more clusters of weeds and the sort for that overgrown look and bring the points down.
It would be nice to have terrain customization option - just for the sake to add grass patches where you want.
As mentioned previously, there is decor like ‘grass’ but it cost some placement budget.
