BG, DH (think tank spec) chasing me for 3 min all over the map, cast x3 Lightning Lasso on him after CD is over ofc, each time it does ZERO dmg. I used elemental, stun him, perma snare, all CD’s hes still near full HP … He is able to put out damage far beyond anything I can dish out. Fear me, cc me, silence me, interrupt me AND burst me down once I have used all CD’s … How is that possible?
Finally. It was about time for lasso nerfs.

Lasso previously did % of enemy health so no matter his role and your gear you dealt 40% health. Now it’s a normal spell that deals damage with your spellpower. No gear ? No damage. An enemy with a lot of hp ? Won’t deal 40%of his health anymore. Dumb spell fixed to be used with a brain now, the good fix of 8.2.

Dont want to dissapoint you guys but its actual buff not nerf. If you trinket it it still dmging atm. If you imunne to stun its dmging. It can crit now! So yeah for low geared players its a nerf but enjoy being lasoed by pve geared ele with crit build.
I have 385 ilvl ele and ticks criting for 26k on nazjatar mobs. Ofc on players crit is nerfed but i still think that it can do 40-60% hp.

It’s just not that either. It makes the talent more powerful when properly set up, something most people lack when playing %based spells. Also, the guy cannot have on use + procs everytime, it’s now just like a warlock dark soul kind of in terms of damage. You know when he has crit proc and on use activated that you need a defensive or you’re likely to die. That makes the spell counterable instead of being flat % even with no trinket no proc no buff no nothing. It will now not let ele swing the pressure in their favor even when their team has nothing every 30s. But in proper set ups it’s going to be better. That’s how spells should be.
