Is it high ms showing next to “world” or “home”?
Is it WoW only or have you tried other games as well during the time you were experiencing the lag in WoW?

Not sure if this question is to me or the other forumer but i have not tried any other games so far. And yeah i am talking about the ms next to world/home when you hover over the question mark

It was a question to you.

The reason I am asking about the world/home is that if the high MS is next to “world”, then it’s server lag. If it’s next to “home”, then it’s most likely a problem on your side.

The question about whether you’ve tried playing other games is to make sure it’s not on your side.

You can also just run a command prompt and type in “ping google.com -t”, and just let it run in the background. The thing you wanna be looking for there is the “time=Xms” at the end of each line. If the X is higher than usual during the time you lag in game, then it’s a problem on your side. If it’s normal, it’s probably server lag.

Edit for calrification: some variation in ms is normal when running the ping command. Mine is usually 8-10ms with occasional spikes to 15-16ms. Those spikes are fine. What I mean by “higher than usual” is when it goes waaaay above the usual value.
