Latency problem

Hello everyone.
So, today i noticed a weird thing. Usually when i play my game has little to no latency (Around 20-30 both realm and local), thought today, those numbers went up to 600-700.
Other games go just fine when online, so i’m having this issue only with WoW. Could anyone help me?

i have same issue. i’ve been getting very high ping since 05:00 pm. i contacted the provider and we performed the necessary speed tests and checks, but we could’nt detect any problems. i repaired the game and reset the modem many times but it still persists.

Yes, same problem, I think it’s on blizzard, but for some reason it doesn’t seem to affect many people, there would be a lot more complaints otherwise; I tested on a mop private server I use sometimes and latency is absolutely fine there, even checked abilities and they hit right when I click them, while here there’s like half a second delay in responding.

No worries, same problem here. I am connecting from Italy, and the performance of the game is downright horrible. I click something and sometimes I can count to 5 until I see the action happen in the game. Most of the times there is like a couple of seconds delay in everything I do.
Performance of other online games is fine, and my PC or connection are not showing any issues.
Mind you, I am on a 2.5 Gb fiber connection, so it really should be extremely smooth.

Also from Italy here.

High latency since yesterday morning for both players in our household on Draenor EU.

VPN or mobile tethering cures it (due to different routing no doubt) but definitely something up on the normal route to the servers. Still the same today, no improvement.

I am from italy as well, this is absolutely stupid.

Others in my house who play warcraft have same problem as well.

Wow, you’re on to something then, we seem to be all italian with the problem, that’s why there’s less complaints than I expected!

It’s probably TIM’s backbone issue. It doesn’t happen if I use my Iliad phone to connect and my son used a VPN and that cured it for him so I guess it’s not a Blizzard issue but a Telecom one.

I play from Italy also and i have TIM as internet provider, i sit on 5k ms world and 600-800ms home and it started yesterday in the morning around 10am since then unplayable.

i m from Turkiye. i haven’t been able to play since yesterday due to latency and i did all troubleshouting steps, talked 2 times with internet provider. nothing changes

Hello all, I am connecting from Turkey playing in Draenor and I have crazy latency issues as well since yesterday. There is no way to submit a ticket about it it seems, and the speed and ping tests I ran prove that my provider is not at fault. I tried everything I know and those written in the Bliz’s guides and forums, nothing work.

Connecting from UK and have super high mostly world latency in the thousands these days :frowning:

Also occurring here. Got one random dc in Zuldazar, and then two massive lag spikes while trying to tank a keystone. And due to the constant lagspikes, the key was lost, since I couldn’t do anything during those lagspikes.

I was on discord voice call at that time and it was unaffected, so it’s just on WoW. Other online games seem to be fine too.

having massive latency issues connection from south africa. everything else looks fine speeds are all normal and streaming the same as normal.

Mostly the problem is with 137.221.65.75 which belongs to blizzard.

Home latency 40-50 ms, world latency 500-1000ms
