And nothing is going to be done about it not at least until this dumb pvp tournament is over.
it was more important for the dps classes that are purely dps to be at the middle and at the top than for a class that has 1 dps spec to be at the middle for blizzard.
I say forget this expansion maybe they may fix one thing or two between patches but we will most likely stay trash like now through this expansion.
I don’t think anybody is suprised.
Weak scaling.
No synergies.
Weak core.
Bad bandaid talents.
Heck you could argue DH has 1 less Talent row than any other class with how annoying momentum is and the weakish boring button the other Talent is (forgot the name that’s how good it is.)
This spec is massively underdeveloped and could use some love like SPriest got.
God only knows why blizzards standards for class/spec design dropped so low they think Havoc is fine. Or survival hunter. Or prot warrior only existing between massively OP or massively UP.
The statement from I think Ion, that the class is the lense you perceive the world thrue and therefore class design and flow is the most important thing. What happened to that?
Fel Barrage. WHat a meme. It was actually good in M+ in BFA, they moved it to last row and made it never used because they capped targets and Demonic is mandatory.
It was fun in BFA M+ but i always felt it was a bit disruptive to the flow.
I don’t get how this is not up against GT and trail of ruin.
I mean i do get why since they boil down to the same ability and people would notice DH has the same talent twice. They serve the exact same design space.
Just another fun nuance about the mess DH is.
I remember a dev who recently quit said that Blizzard decides they want some specs to be worse than others, it’s intentional.
It would be fine if DH had 2 DPS specs and the other was viable but that’s not the case
It’s intentional as it promotes rerolling. Rerolling promotes purchases of level boosts and wow tokens for gold which is used to gear up the new fotm class.

Its not 3rd worst class, its 3rd worst spec. And both of those classes have another DPS spec. So its the single worst class.
if you look that chart, DH is the worst, then Warrior, then Ret palading. All other classes have a spec that is above those in terms of DPS
Not only did they cap the aoe you can hit, but for each extra mob you hit is reduced with squared amount
Well, something has to be bottom. 
Sure but not by 20%.
I would be fine to be bottom at all times if top to bottom was ~5%.

Every other class has a viable dps spec. Havoc have no choice but to reroll

This forum post is about castle nathria. Dhs are also the least represented spec in pvp with warriors right at the top
Of course it looks like it’s in the middle when you’re looking at specs. But Assa rogues can just go Outlaw, so specs are irrelevant.
DH talents are indeed awful, Demonic should be baseline same with anything that has to do with blade dance, I don’t see why we even have a spell that is a dps loss if you arn’t specced into it
