yesterday I saw a 64k disc priest almost outmatch a 140k mage in arena. And before you say the mage was crap, he was like 1700cr.
How can disc priest give as much damage as they heal?
How can no class can beat a healer nowadays?
How can non-magical classes heal so much these days?
This is common for mage priest in 2s. I'd even say it's uncommon for the priest to not do more damage than the mage. Mages have low sustained damage these days, disc priest, when allowed to free cast (such as when playing with a mage) have good sustained damage and is how they heal.
Also health pools mean very little these days it's a non factor almost.

a holy/disc priest can go up to 18k burst. they will destroy you if you arent focused.
