It’s been quite a while now since Lay in Hands doesn’t work properly when used with a macro to use it as a mouseover ability. This issues has been present for at least the entirety of TWW, probably even longer though but I can’t remember when I noticed it first exactly.
For some reason you are forced to have the „Empyreal Ward“ talent active for it to work. Once you remove the talent point, the macro will just do nothing.
It also doesn’t work with on-click funtionality from addons like Cell if not talented into Empyreal Ward.
I’ve seen some moderator commenting on a different post a while back, that this is a known issue and will be fixed. But sadly it hasn’t been handled yet.
I hope this issue can finally be resolved so I don’t have to always waste a talent point on Empyreal Ward
Why do you need a macro for mouseover? You can just enable mouseover cast in settings. Don’t need a macro for it.
