Lazarus is currently looking for more members to expand our roster in BFA. We’re looking for active players of any level, experience and gender. The only catch is that you must embrace our casual culture. BFA started out well, but a lot of our players are not happy with current game design and system flaws and more and more are taking breaks to pursue other games and interests.
That’s why we are looking to find more of you guys who still find enjoyment in WoW today.
We are one of the oldest guilds on the server (2005) started by a small group of friends who has played together on and off ever since, both in WoW and other games. The guild was founded on the premise that we wanted to do raids back in Vanilla, and while serious raiding didn’t really take off until TBC it’s a big part of who we are today.
We’re a raiding guild.
We raid twice a week as a group of players who really enjoy solving puzzles and smashing bosses together. Working together to figure out how to defeat these encounters is great fun and has kept us engaged for more than a decade now.
We’re also a casual guild.
Most of the members of the guild grew up, got jobs, got married, got kids and other commitments meaning time available for WoW has decreased. That’s why we embrace the fact that our players have RL commitments, even on raid nights, and learned to deal with it.
Casual raiding:
- -If you can’t make a raid, that’s fine, just let us know.
-If you can’t make the raid on time, that’s fine, see you when u get here.
-If you can’t stay the whole raid, that’s fine, thanks for coming at all.
In our experience, forcing people to show up all the time, exactly on time, doesn’t work well. This way our players feel at home, their raid spots are secure, and it leaves them able to play what they want when they can.
In terms of progress, we have raided the highest tier of raiding from WotLK to the end of MoP. However, since the guild has been relatively small, the set 20-man raid size for mythic raids has been a big challenge. We’ve killed a boss or 2 in mythic when we’ve happened to have the numbers, but little proper progress. It’s a work in progress and our roster have increased steadily throughout Legion.
I’d like to take this time to point out that we’re not interested in recruiting “raiders”. We’re looking for people who wants to make a home here with us, and who enjoys the raiding scene. Who you are is more important than how you perform. That being said, to raid on the progress team requires a bit of both. though we’re happy to teach people, if they are willing to learn.
Raiding skills can be taught. Personality, not so much.
As a side note we’re currently having dual specced raiders going healing due to necessity and as such we are particularly interested in healers or people with a functioning healing OS.
On top of raiding there is a wide interest for doing M+ in the guild on non-raidnights. We do M+ in a wide range of key-levels but there are always room for more people to make even more groups to both push keys with and gear up alts with. What we want:
- -More like-minded people who enjoy playing together more than loot
-People of any class. If players play the class/specc they enjoy the most, they keep playing
-Players to do dungeons, raids, tmog runs and achievements with.
What we offer:
- -A great home for you, your alts and maybe even your friends.
-An opportunity to join raids.
-Help with non-raid content such as dungeons and achievements.
-Friends: Many of us have met IRL across Europe and will do so again.
-Help, tips tricks regarding class/specc from players with 10+ years of WoW experience.
-The occasional boost: On farm content we usually bring along some socials or alts. Within limits ofc.
Requirements
There are no real requirements other than an attitude and personality that fits with ours, to join the guild as a social, hang out with us and play various content. But if you want to raid with us we expect a minimum of performance on top that.
Finally, this is a mature guild. We’re mostly 30+, and while we don’t have an age limit, we don’t tolerate teen rage and similar childishness.
TL;DR
- -We are looking for more likeminded casual players who enjoy raiding due to BFA drop off.
-We don’t NEED raiders to make raids happen, but we want a few more people in to expand our options.
-Minor healer shortage.
