Learning the ways of Paladin

Hello everyone.

I am starting WOTLK for the Alliance as a Paladin.
I was wondering which specialization i should chose to level up? A player in game mentioned a prot-ret spec that i could use, saying that the damage is very good and because it’s focusing on prot it gives me the ability to pull more mobs.

I can’t find that build or if i should another spec so if anyone can help me with this i would be very thankful.

Check out Icy veins paladin leveling guides.
I personally found ret solo leveling a lot of fun and could easily heal or tank up to 40.
