How do you feel about the loot spread in BFD?
As a horde hunter player, after 5 raids, I got one piece and I strongly believe I’m above the average.
Sharing with on average 5 other players that needs the same loot.
I dont think this is because of loot spread, more the over popularity of leather. If you play a overplayed class then yeah more competition
Go play shaman or druid ( caster or heal) and half of cloth and all leather with Sp is yours
As leather nin caster u share loot with everything that is popular and strong rn so it kinda make sense
try WOTLK, where your leather is BIS for all physical dps. Cataclysm fixes that problem
The loot spread is fine in my experience. May a little too much mail given for horde given there’s only one class that can use it but then that’s not true for alliance so I can see the logic at least.
The reason you are finding loot so sparse is because Hunter’s are massively overplayed and you are competing with Rogue and Feral Druids who are also hugely popular due to how powerful they are presently.
To put this into context, Hunters, Rogues and Feral Druids together make up about 50% of all raiders who have been recorded on Warcraft Logs. Agility focused Leather is about 20% of the drops. So if there are 7 bosses, who each drop 2 pieces that’s 14 drops from a full clear. Of the 14 drops about 3 of those will be the agility based leather you seek, and you only have a 20% chance of winning the roll, meaning you have a 60% chance per Full Clear of getting just 1 piece of armour loot. And that’s assuming only the averages.
TL;DR - The Supply is fine. It’s the demand that’s out of balance.

Healer Ditto pala are wearing cloth ( classic afterall)
Rn people use what they can , warrs and pala dps also take leather if its better than what they got actualy.
So its like hunters, shamans rogues druids wars and palas going for it
while this is true if your gear was so bad before that you are rolling on agility as a warrior you probably shouldn’t be there. In any case this is down to your guild or raid leader to manage, and is really not acceptable in organised groups.
I just wished we would have personal loot. The quality of life is so much better and a lot less toxic arguing over pixels!
Simply put, horde have 1 extra leather user, and 1 less mail user. As a horde raider, there is a lot of demand for leather.
