What is this system i am stuck at 66 and the only option to craft stuff is from sparks items (+3) or artisan mettle some crafting gear (+1) both items are limited ressources
Is camping the work oder system or trade chat 24/7 the only option to level up a profession? what a great system they have created. mindblowing.

not just LW seem Tailoring too. And both are a bit of a schlepp as you need to sometimes go far away in search of looms and alters to craft certain items. Ofcourse the alters are hidden in dungeons.
And when an order is listed for 1G, you open it and the accept button is already gone because someone sniped it.
I was stuck on 65 too. Then I started to look at recipes I didnt have and where to get them. They gave me points, but more importantly knowledge, which in turn gave me new recipes, which in turn gave me points and knowledge. There is always a recipe that brings your forward but most are in the skill tree or behind reputation.
If you expect a silver plate to solve everything for you, aint happening. You need to invest a lot of time and preparation… Almost like players wanted profession to be as important as running keys or raid?
I love the new system. Its fun leveling up not just ez sleepymode like before.

Inscription too. Was stuck at 65 now i am 100. I bought recipes from AH and got the ones from reputation. That brought me to 80. Thanks to that I had enough knowledge to skill into tools which got me to 90 and the final points i got from a mixture of tools and staff.
Was just told about PvP recipes you can get in the win box. Guess Alliance players will struggle to get these since they love to afk in BG. 
At that time I didnt do PVP and just simply bought them at the vendor, they cost only gold. The ressources you can simply by in the AH
i had to invest in the 6 digits to buy the pvp patterns earlier in the expansion
before they used to tip well and at the same time skill ups for me
i think they’re much cheaper now and they still sell but tip wise it went downhill
get the pvp leather helm/boots patters and you’ll be fine.
There might be some patterns on the ah. i have seen blue and epic patterns drop often from fishing and lunker farming. this should give some more items wich can get you some levels
From what I have seen you need to invest into PvP patterns to give it a slight bump. Otherwise I was camping the Work Order NPC orders that did not put in high quality materials.
Most crafting professions have these bumps, as they built it around selling your trade skills in Trade Chat, and fulfill what work orders you can catch and do.
I was hard stuck in tailoring too for a while. The only way I can even do the weekly orders quest is to have an alt put trivial craft requests in to my main directly. The whole thing is a farce.
I’m personally not enjoying this revamped system but the people who got in early and knew what they were doing probably are.
That and the profession exploit they took advantage of gaining more skill points than what was intended. Instead patching it and reverting Blizz left the skill points as is. Right now to me skill points is a gated grind right up there with anima from SL. You can only have so many per week so the whole process feels dragged out more than what it should.

I had just a tiny idea what I wanted… after I misclicked to open a new mastery I was into tools and weapons. Somehow it worked out
I was stuck in LW and tailoring aswell, but i reached 100 skill in tailoring yesterday and am currently sitting at 77 in LW. Here is how i did it:
I still think the system is a mess. They need to adjust the leveling structure. Camping the work orders was no fun!
For LW i used sparks from my alts and made epic bracers that only required 30 primal chaos to get to 100 its pointless hoping that anyone will use crafting orders on my realm, i have used every single spark on 11 chars to level my professions i have enchanting and engineering left at about 80
But there are recipes who “only” use mettle and some mats. Why use all the limited sparks?
No i’ve made loads of mistakes and I’m still enjoying it loads more than what we had previously. I love meaningful choices and being locked into things, makes everything more special overall.
They are obviously intending for 100/100 to take a while to reach.

You can’t imagine how awesome it is to have to log your alt to place those 3 work orders every week
If that’s not a sign of a successful and popular profession system i don’t know what is!
