Oh hydraxian, what a home youve become a refuge for many. So many i bump into are jaded by the rush rush everyman for himself and lack of responsibilty for actions that big servers have, I need this shelter for life is not kind at times but i know on HWL i can communicate with friends not be judged if i dont have the shiniest gear or the greatest of skills, everyone on here is family even the broken ones. Dont let the love of a dollar be your downfall, Keep Hydraxian alive we need our rp home.

This is not easy and was unsure if wanted to post this but decided to anyway. In January I lost my mum and struggled to get through each day, I decided to go back to playing wow when I had any spare time. This created a much needed distraction from real life and I think without Hydraxian Waterlords this would not have happened. At this time I would not have been able to deal with what comes with a big server, not just the amount of people but also the toxicity on these servers. Having a place like Hydraxian to go to when im not dealing with real life has meant a lot to me as im sure it does with many of the players here. If this server is closed/locked any future players will not get to experience the community we have here, Please donât take that away.

actually mirage raceway is one of the better realms rest of them are the douchy ones that are coming to them.
This is the 3rd or so time Blizzard has tried to shut Hydraxian Waterlords, it seems that this time, it wonât be saved. The realm is now locked, and you canât even create a new character on the realm, even if you already have existing ones.
So NA gets to keep their small RP realm, but as usual, EU is left in silence and ignored. No RP realm or PvP realm for us, while NA gets both.
Just a reminder, we also pay a monthly subscription for access to this. Iâm so sick of this obsession with mega realms, I have no interest in playing on them, and now the only place without them is Classic Era.

It is over now but letâs be positive - MoP seems to be the end of âClassicâ anyway. Eight or so more months and that would be it.
Hydraxians can start planning for the future. For example, the Era version of HW seems to be empty (and ready to be populated).

You can not create a character on any realm right now. Like not even the new ones. The only thing working is transfers. And yes, even if you have chars on those other realms you cant make new ones. Its not exclusive to hydraxian so I wouldnt be too worried!
I wouldnât say itâs empty (there is nice community there) but yeah, they still need more and would love to get some new souls <3
And yes, weâre still worried. We love making alts and new stories. I donât want our realm to be locked - BSB got their another chance and what about us? Just please, unlock us, weâre paying for sub just like others.

Iâm just so happy that I created 20 or so assorted toons there a couple of days ago in case of just this.
I will stay!
That said, I play mostly Era HC
not totally, but I think many of the oldtimers do now play on the Era HC servers - thatâs fun 
And I move most of my dead ones to HW, so that they are ready there when I like to just goof around.
