I’m still trying to grasp the conduits and soulbinds aspect of shadowlands so sorry if I say something wrong!
I’ve just recently fallen in love with disc priest, but when im levelling in shadowlands I wanna go shadow (maybe do some dungeons as shadow as well).
My question is:
If I base ALL my conduits and soulbinds + legendary armor into shadow-spec, does that go together with my main spec as disc priest because I will deal more damage = more healing??

Feels very much to me that the covenant i want for shadow, is not the best choice for healing
Well for that you will have to wait the game to stop updating, once that happens and sims will become more accurate you will likely know how much much dps every Covenant/soulbinds do, once you see the full picture of that, do the same for disc priest.
Once you get the full picture of everything, you can do an accurate choice.
Maybe the best healing cov will be also the best for healing.
But even then if a covenant end up being straight up broken I would be really scared to pick it. Because you might end up getting nerfed the once raid/m+ open.
If the healing Covenant will be completely different from the Shadow one, just pick the most balanced for both aspects.
I don’t have beta so i can’t give you an informed answer but:
It will depends basically if Shadow legendaries can work for another spec, and it will depend if the extra damage they bring will translate into atonement.
Same can be said for conduits.
You don’t join a covenant till max level on your first char so you wouldn’t be using conduits until after that.
For legendaries you would craft these for you main spec normally. Likely you will need time to get the mats. Most of the legendaries might now work for both. Some will buff damage but not proc healing.
You will be able to put your disc conduits on one soulbind and shadow in another (you get 3 soulbinds eventually).
