Either I’m cursed with unlucky looting, or the game hates me. There is no way a 7% drop rate doesn’t drop for me by now. I’ve been trying to get the bow so many times that i might go insane if I do another Sunwell Platue. Probably 30+ times now, maybe even 40. I have 3 characters I try with every week. My friend got it on the 3rd run!
I’m sure Lor’themar doesn’t want me near the Sunwell since I’m a Void elf so give me the bow already so I don’t have to visit!
40? Been at it for years, probably in the 100’s of times attempted.
Rng is Rng, it could drop for someone 1st time, or in our case never.
Well that doesn’t give me any hope 
You can level alts and multiply your chances by number of characters eglible to loot, so 4 chances per week for 4 characters instead of 1 per 7 days.
I do on 3 Characters each week.
2 hunters and 1 Warrior
You can also get the achievement for it on a rogue if you have one.

I was after that bow too, but i realised there are better models in game and it is not worth the hassle 
True true. But the reason why I want the bow so much is because it has the High elf flag on it. Would look amazing on either a Belf or a Velf with blue eyes.
I have the Blood elf one (Golden bow of Quel’thelas) on my Blood elf Hunter.

This bow, can never get on hunter, yet anything that can’t equip has near 100% ratio 
Wish there was some failsafe for some things like this, difficulty is trivial and item is not so useful, it wouldn’t hurt to have 100% drop rate after 10/20/30 clears or some. I’m sure somebody can come tell me why it is a terrible idea tho.

It drops. I got it quite recently too. Twice in fact. Once for this mage, which was a waste, and once for my warrior.
It is what it is, I quit the game near end of MoP and had run Sunwell 100’s of times religiously every week… Bow never dropped. Came back Mid Legion ran it twice and it dropped, same happened with Ashes of Al’ar ran it 100’s of times back in the day, returned to game and dropped after a couple of weeks… its just RNG and it sucks.
My nemisis is Lich King, run ICC most weeks on at least 3 toons since clearing it in Wrath, missed a few odd weeks here and there out of frustration, but have like 600+ Kills now and still no mount 
7% does not mean it drops 7 times out of 100, it means each time it has a 7% chance to drop, which is not the same. This is not changed by how many times you run a dungeon. You have just been unlucky.
It dropped to my DH the 3rd time I went there, when I was farming Muramasa (which didn’t drop yet might I add)…
As for any of my Hunters, no luck yet… It’s sitting on my DH’s bank tho, just in case.
