According to internet sources it has a 7 % droprate.
I’ve done this raid many times since Wrath (never in TBC) on different characters, solo and in groups, but I never even seen it drop.
The compareable legendary Warglaives of Azzinoth has a slightly lower droprate, 5 %, but I’ve seen those drop a couple of times.
So my question to the forums, are the droprates unrealistic or am I just unlucky?
I see every hunter got Thori’dal, i desperatly try too beacause it’s a beautifull bow.
but i think for Warglaive of Azzinoth they buffed the drop rate since there’s 2 different weapon, instead of bow when it’s only 1 slot to get achievement.
Afterall Legendary is that rate of drop i think and worth it to transmog it !
But about unlucky i don’t know, it’s alike invincible and Mimiron head : some people got it easely, some farm it hard.
I got it second sunwell run on my warlock, never seen it on any of my chars that can wield it.

Yeah it still drops, you even get a feat of strength achieve for getting it.
If it helps I was pretty salty myself 
i have it on 3 characters i believe, none of them equip it tho, my priest also got both warglaivies faster than all battle pets from black temple.
Yeah I have kept them too, even if none of my characters can equip them. 
So much useless stuff I keep holding on to…
Seems like the elusive bow drops once in a while then. I never got Mimrion’s head or Invincible, but I even saw the latter drop in the anniversary “raids”.

Only took me about a month. I have a ton of hunter alts thanks to allied race heritage armor
I have one. I farmed it during Legion and it took me about 2 months to get it. You get the Golden Bow of Quel’Thalas (the green one) more often, but you just have to keep trying.
Check that your raid difficulty is set to NORMAL and 10 PLAYER and “Reset All Instances” before you enter the raid.
I did like 11 runs to get it.
I got it 1st time running Sunwell on a rogue, didn’t even know there was a lego bow until it dropped.
My hunter got it in … must have been something like 12-20 runs.

I’ve seen it drop, but not on my hunter. I can’t comment on the drop rate compared to the Glaives, those I saw drop when they were current content and I haven’t seen since (but I don’t spend much time in BT). At least SWP is quick to run, it’ll drop for you eventually.
I got Ashes of Al’Ar after about 20 runs. I’ve read of people running that place 200 times or more who still don’t have it. Years of trying. Took me 2 months (I ran it on 3 alts).
RNG is RNG.
