The worst part of this patch is farming the legendary cloak so you can use the corruption mechanics alongside the addition trinket (cloak agi/str/int increase) - however not leveling an alt and having to do the 2 hour legendary cloak and then having to wait weeks to catch up the cape is a joke.
The worst thing about this expansion is the gated grinds and the legendary cloak is the icing on the cake of sheer gated grinds.
if you have done the whole quest line for the cloak you can skip most parts like the ra-den part with your alts. and as far as i know the legendary cloak does have some sort of a catch up already? just dont expect too much though like from rank 1-15 in a week or two.
Max vessels per week is 6, you also get 3 extra runs from the initial introduction chain which don’t just go to waste unlike the first time. I got my druid to 120 on saturday last week and it’s cloak rank 10 today. Will be 11 tomorrow, and nearly 15 by the end of next week.
Not saying it isn’t grindy, because it sure as fk is, but it’s also a damn sight faster than it was the first time around.
Worth noting you also get 50 echoes per run of a vision minimum (Pretty comfortably can get 75 or even 100 on new chars after cloak rank 3), and with that massively inflated number of runs from the starting quest + increased rewards that came throughout 8.3 you rack up your first few rank 3 essences really fast.
well getting the visions is not realy a problem, but oh lol if you happen to play a char that is not the fastest or something, then getting mementos becoms annoying, due to you maby not be able to clear or do as much as you should in the visions.
One “catch up” idea might be to remove the restriction on how many quest item u get per run. Like the first few ranks, you only get 1 item per run but lets say you get boosted, full clear, you could get 2 or 4 items even if the quest only requires 1 so you could basically turn in 2-4 Q per run depending on your rank on the back ofc.
