Are those gems supposed to become equippable when ToES releases? Kinda weird you can already get them, but they’re not equippable.
I have the same problem too.
Got the fistweapon from HoF today and was not able to equip the sha crystal because i can only equip 0 of 0…
Likely one of many undeclared temporary restrictions they’ve put in place during MoP for the benefit of the 50 or so people who care about world first for terrace.

I would expect that the sha-touched gem gained through the welfare method (aka celestial dungeons), wont be equippable until ToES loot is added to celestial dungeons, aka two weeks after the raid opens.

gem item id is same, so probably not and it would be incredibly stupid, because they havent communicated that upfront.

got a GM reply today.
GM said to wait until September 4th when TOES opens.
"Hey Maria,
According to your request, you can’t socket the Crystallized Horror Legendary Gem. I’ve looked into this, and since it’s a Legendary Gem, it’s best to wait until September 4th. Terrace of Endless Spring will be released then, and the gems should be usable for you.

Same here. Feels extremly frustrating to be sitting on it and being able to use it.
Weird decision on blizzard part to allow us to get the crystall before we can even use it.

Lmfao. Even clearing ToES doesn’t make gem equippable. This is the Blizz quality we expect from classic team.

I’d like to get in on this.
I completed the quest. Got my 500+ agi gem. But I can’t seem to equip it to my sha touched weapon. ToES has gotten released and I get this error : you can only equip 0 items in the Crystal of fear category.
Weapon : [Claws of Shek’zeer]
Gem : [Crystallized Dread]
after weekly reset

Its because they removed LFR and added the new way to get it.
If they didnt do that they wouldnt have needed to make it “unique equipped (0)” as no one could have it anyway before killing Sha.
Just very stupid, but tomorrow you will be able to use it

I didn’t get it before anything , i got it after killing Sha of Fear… What is the reason for locking it for that? Was able to equip it directly when we killed it on Retail in 2012.
I didn’t braindead spam Celestials / Farm till Honored so i could get it early…
But yeah, am able to now… Just that ALL these Unannounced things from Blizzard are starting to become extremely frustrating.
Useless time gating as always, and now the mega server shenanigans…
