Another week, another futile attempt. Since the WF kill, four, I join random groups. Every week, I receive cinders, but they’re useless. The legendary item sure seems to be fut, but it seems I won’t obtain it until the tier is over. What’s the point? I might as well save my time and stop bothering — there is no endgame content, that I can play in a really competitive manner.
Players wielding two-handed weapons are split into two groups: those with the legendary item and those without, through no fault of their own. The promised Bad Luck Protection is clearly worthless. I’ve been playing WoW for almost 20 years, and this was supposed to be the first raid tier where I’d get a legendary item—apparently not. Regardless of my in-game actions or how well I play my character, I can’t compete with players who have the item. Complete nonsense.
You see - I am quite upset. So upset indeed, that I write my first forum post.
By far the most horrible and frustrating season ive ever experienced in my time in wow since I started in tbc.
Damn near impossible to optimize your character. Need signet brand? Good luck when you have to run a full plate comp in hc because everyone else is done with it.
Need legendary? Well, then you have to wait until alts and healers get it first.
I mean, how is this a fair system? It’s absolutley insane… i’m at the point where people who’ve had it on their main since like week 3-4 are getting it on their alts before me.
Either up the drop-rate or make it so that you can get it from all levels of difficulty so you atleast get a few more attempts each week… this is just ridiculous.
I almost never post anything on the forums but the acquiring of the legendary has to be the most frustrating experience i had getting an item.
I understand that it’s a legendary and shouldn’t be easily obtainably, but it comes down to RNG which is RIDICULOUS. People have been getting a second one on their alts and even tanks or healers who don’t use it have gotten it before people that have killed Fyrakk since the world first race was over. How is this fair???
For people that are trying to push for the M+ title it’s even more frustrating. Groups actually ask for players with the legendary because it is that much more of a dps increase, since some classes are build around it. 11 weeks of getting embers is just sad. 11 weeks, that 2,5 months almost 3 months. What’s the point of even getting it this late.
Yep that is the problem ‘‘be easily obtainably’’ because people who killing hc fyrakk weekly and farming lessers not getting it but some alt or 1k rio get its. blizzard lied about bad luck proctection
I can understand that legendaries shouldn’t be too easy to get, but making it RNG was a mistake.
Some people have been running the raid on heroic for weeks with only some of those ember things to show for it, while somebody’s alt can waddle into LfR for the first time, do the DPS of a Shaman’s totem, and get the bloody thing dropped in their lap, which just adds to the frustration.
there is none… I mean unless your in a raid with no else who also wants the legendary axe.
But lets assume that your doing LFR or are in a guild with allot of other players also trying to get the axe.
Your up against everyone else who also have looted embers and cinders to get the axe.
Essentially your all in a que to get the same axe. And the ones with the most cinders and embers get in to be in front of the line.
nope people just dont understand blp doesnt mean youll definitly get it in like 3/4 weeks. were on what week 12 now? thats fine more people will prob start getting it with blp but that doesnt mean everyone should have it by now
We all are. The suffering we endured makes the reward that much more rewarding. xD
But if blizzard just took away the Rng and the ‘‘suffering’’ How rewarding would getting these items really feel? Getting a Legendary would feel generic… Almost expected to get.
In my view it would take the reward out of the feeling of the reward it self. It would be expected to get them. Not as much a reward at all nor unique or special.
what you talking ? do you understand that wow become seasonal game ? do you understand nobody wants to get legendary at end of season when nobody pushing or stopped progressing mythic raid ? you can talk from your perspective i understand that you dont need leggo because you not doing any hardcore content… But there is people who likes pushing and lego help them
WoW is a seasonal game… But legendaries are not the same as Tier set pieces…
They are special rewards for the lucky… And yes RNG is all about luck on the roll of the dice.
But what is the point then about Legendaries? If we make them as exptected as Tier set pieces?
Should we have a Machine in wow that transform your weapons into a Lengendary same as we have now with tier set pieces?
I tell you if you do that… It would take the reward out of getting a legendary completely out of the picture… We would be farming it the same as we do tier pieces now.
Legendaries are supposed to be special and unique to get. It’s not a expectation to get them. The reward for getting a legendary is supposed to feel awesome and extremely lucky. And your supposed to feel jealous of those who got it. And want the same…
If we take away whats special about getting these items what the point? It takes the whole Legendary aspect out of what makes a legendary a legendary.

its stupid system that people who getting boosted beyond their skill level getting legendary. If there is bad luck proctection there must be order Mythic raiders>heroic raiders> normal raiders> alt who are getting legendary. If person farming hc raid getting all those embers he must be rewarded and not so accident toon who was in raid that time.

Do you think that because everyone and their dog didn’t get it the first month of release. Blizzard should just Vendor the Legendaries out? It takes the whole point and reward out of getting one out of it.
Your not all supposed to get it. Its not the same as tier pieces.
if your class is balanced around it you should get it. If you pushing for tittle you should get it.

The legendary is not a ‘‘must have’’ for anyone above 2.3k rio. Allot of Warriors and 2handed melee users are and still do make perfecly fine living without them…
Your fomo about the axe is not an excuse to make the reward of legendaries obsolete.
Deal with it… Your honestly just bad if you think the axe would make or break your living as a DPS player.
