Legion artifact weapons spec restrictions

Since Legion artifacts are now only transmoggable and aren’t really a thing anymore, I feel like we should be able to have more freedom when it comes to artifact transmog and our specs. Especially now that we know some classes will have their weapons preferences back in Shadowlands, I don’t feel like our specs should be limited to only that one artifact weapon. I’d like to see Frost DKs running around with Maw of the Damned, Bloods with Apocalypse, WW Monks with Fu Zan etc.

Of course some won’t make sense and probs won’t be possible, but those specs who could normally wield it should have an option to transmog it no matter the spec as long as their weapon preferences fit

I agree. As a Frost Dk, I would like to be able to use the 2h weapons from my Blood and Unholy specs when I play as 2h frost in shadowlands.

Also, I would rather like my druid to be able to be a Blue Neon cat, and a Blue Neon bear at the same time!

I’m torn on this… you see… I decided not to grind the MM bow appearance from the mage tower because appearances were said to not be usable in other specs. And I never play MM anyway. So, with a change like the one you suggest, it would make me feel bad about not having that particular appearance. It’s changing the rules after you’ve played the game, so to speak. And that’s not okay imo.

So; the only way I think this would be okay is if the skins can be aquired once again; even if only for a limited time.

Always considered titanstrike an MM weapon. It’s a damn rifle, why don’t the snipers have it?!

Also druids still have to use fist and dagger artifact weapon transmog if they want artifact druid forms. Imagine using orange glowing fist weapons for 5 years because you cant transmog any weapon models.

I really like and want this to happen, I play a mist monk but not that into the mist monk artifact staves, but I love the brew master polearms. These artifact appearences are the best designs for weapons they have ever done. But with so many restrictions so many people don’t use them.
Also I would love it if you could put an enchant on them, I always have enchants on my weapons.

Im in the opposite position, I only play MM, but decided to unlock all the appearances for all the specs, just because you can never know.
I would never use any mog different from the rhok delar reskin, unless they release an HD version of the tier 2, in that case I’d use the gold/purple skin, I doubt it will happen, but I’m already set if that comes to be.
