So in short, trying to complete a Legion Alchemy quest where I need to go to UC. The portal from Org kills me in UC and when talking to Zidormi I can only select “good bye” and not get her to show me the old UC.
I’m a returning player meaning I’ve skipped over lots of content that I’m now trying to play for the first time. Hitting 70 and not able to use Chromie has caused lots of issues.
Searched the forum, wowhead and tried most tips and tricks but it does not help. Other alts about lvl 50 can still use Chromie to get to UC from Org.
This. This is your problem. Zidormi should be the solution, but isn’t.

I see various methods for activating her. So many that it seems like some superstitious mumbo-jumbo about walking backwards three times around your house when Jupiter is on Aquarius or something. Why do the devs leave such messes behind??
But the main method seems to be to complete the Battle For Lordaeron, which is the scenario where UC gets put into its Blight-ridden instakill phase. It was the start of BfA expansion.
Reading around, this should be the quest that you need to get to start BfA:
and/or talk to
Archivist Sylvia in Org
to go through the scenario.

Thanks, I read something like this when searching for a solution but I really hoped for a quicker solution, also tried to get help from blizzard which was a total dead end. It’s like tickets are read and “solved” by the worst AI ever.
I find it hard to understand why Chromie was dropped above 61. I’ll try this out and post if it works.
