Alts of the same class that previously had access to these titles no longer do.
Since some stuff is broken atm in the pre-patch (Like the legion intro skip, that was moved somehow), i’m not really worried about it being patched up by a hotfix.
Still, i wanted to know if i’m the only one in this situation ?
I checked on a level one mage and I can’t use Archmage.
Although according to these two links: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/class-hall-titles-aren-t-account-wide/217737 https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/dt8j6k/legion_class_titles/
Both from BFA time period, they were not account wide back then either? So I’m not really sure if it’s a pre-patch bug or intended. The reddit comment makes sense, that it’s rewarded from a quest, and quest flags are character specific.
What’s weird is that these titles are flagged as account-wide on Wowhead and i’m pretty sure is used to see these titles on characters that had past the legion level bracket (So a lvl 1 mage couldn’t use it, but atm a lvl 10 or 45-50 could, potentially)
But since I didn’t use them on my alts, i don’t have any proof that these titles were account-wide in the first place, and I could have been dreaming all this time
I don’t think you’ve ever been able to use these account wide - I’ve got a few mages and I done the class hall on an Alliance mage and was never able to use to the title on the Horde one… bit of a pain really
i thought they never were account wide? at the beginning of legion i played a druid which i abandonned, did all the stuff, got the title etc. then on my new druid when i did it again for the balance of power quests, i got the title again a couple of weeks ago. i thought thats supposed to be like that. none of my other druids have access to the title either. o.ô
I’ve noticed since the pre-patch that some titles become available after you pass certain level thresholds. For example I got some titles after hitting level 30 on another priest.
