Patience is a virtue…and therefore in short supply.
Anyhoo, peeps who played the Legion Xpac when current, have had the bragging rights for a very long time, despite the drops being RNG, not talent…and it’s no more ‘free’ than it was originally, ie. you need an active subscription.

Hightmountin 104 caches - shudder but was I happy when it was over. Cool Moose though.
This was done during Legion as well.
Glad they are buffing them however Paragon rewards should not exist. All ‘extras’ should be with the vendor for gold or an easily collectable currency (one which you generally have lots of upon reaching Exalted)

Sure but korthia is still kinda fresh i had 1k rep for 2 hours work when it was current, now they all had their paragon mount in some hours in that rift and like 300% increase to all relic drops, why do stuff current when u can just w8 to get it for free?
This is a “I read something on WoWhead and now I’m angry” post. 
But, honestly, it doesn’t matter. And it’s nice that I have a reason to go back and grind that rep again.

So someone opened less free boxes than you did…RNG means that could have happened anyway.
The way Blizz designs content, it probably makes sense that once an Xpac is no longer current content, the Paragon loot RNG drop rate improves, since peeps are much less likely to want to do heritage dailies regularly, in previous Xpacs.
I take the point about current content, since it gives players the option to wait quite some time for a new Xpac to improve the drop rate, or do a bit more of a grind for current Xpac Postbox vogueing rights,

Korthia is still fresh and they just destroyed that rep, everyone got max rank for free after buff.
Oh no, they nerfed the worst and most obnoxious rep grind ever put into the game. What a shame. All my efforts are now meaningless.
Oh wait, I did it when it was relevant and now that the tier is over I don’t care how much they nerf it.

Just saying u get like 400% more rep then i got when i hitted exalted.
The problem with the Archivist rep grind is that it was just completely unnecessary.
It was just another grind standing in the way of you and power and I just don’t think players enjoyed doing it. Shadowlands has too many systems and the Conduit upgrades and item sockets were just one of the ones that were unnecessary.
So rather than removing the upgrade altogether, they just made it really easy to farm the rep and currency to get the upgrades. Meaning you could spend more time enjoying the areas of the game you want to play, rather than pointlessly farming a rep/currency which has nothing to do with the end game you want to play.
For people who aren’t really interested in the end-game stuff, it’s just made 1 Rep Mount really easy to get.

Point is, Blizz will be checking the metrics, if peeps are not engaging with certain content, then the sensible thing to do is look for ways to increase engagement.
I did the Winterspring Frostsaber mount grind before it was changed to the modern, fast-track version, but I’m happy for others to now be able to get the mount, without the risk of developing an eye tic in the process.

Too late for me. My enthusiasm for Korthia has expired. I only reached rank 4 (which is not even half way I think?).
I don’t know where this buff is, if it’s in the rift then that no good for me, tried a rift and they’re too tough for me.

Yes. To have it earlier. If you want stuff to remain “rare” then this is most certainly the wrong game for you outside of Gladiator mounts. Legion was 2 xpacs ago mate.

The buff is everywhere. You can do your regular dailies, pick up some caches, shrooms, nests, kill a few rares, and get several times more rep just from that, compared to what you would have got before 9.1.5 by doing every little possible thing.

I need one more Shaping Fate to reach Death Advance Exalted so I’ll do that much at some stage. I’ll see if I do earn more codex.
I don’t care that much, I’m not a big mount collecter. I go for the achievement ones like Glory or the Bee as something to do.
