Legion prospecting seems wierd

hey, trying to get chaotic spinel for my legion warlock class mount,
need to get 3 chaotic spinel ( green gem ) and it doesnt show up while prospecting,
i prospected about 500 ores and got around 20 of every other type (red, blue, purple, yellow and orange ) but no greens, which seems kinda bugged.

quite a bummer, really want my flying demon horse and feels like the game wont let me.

any1 got any tips ? the gems on the ah are ridiculously expensive.

Sounds weird, just to make sure you are prospecting the correct ores (laystone ore or felslate)? I’d also verify that you are not usin some addons which might hide things (eg. bag addons).

You seem to have been unlucky. The reported average chance of getting Chaotic Spinel from prospecting is 1,2 - 1,3%, so you should have gotten a few.
