Legion Raids Soloable?

Even if you don’t have the best gear, I don’t play much TBC (Kinda did quit tbh) nor do I play Shadowlands I think my ilevel is 203 on my main, are you able to solo any legion raid like you can do with dreanor raids, 1 hit things etc? or do you need to gather your friends for that (Have none xD)

You should be able to do all raids on normal/hc and mythic Emerald Nightmare, but wont be able to do much more, at least not in reasonable time.

Friends. Definitely friends.

Right now, you can get through the first three on Heroic, with some struggles, depending on class and gear, but Mythic Nighthold and Tomb are unlikely for most. And ofc there are requirements for multiple people in Mythic Antorus, though you’re unlikely to get that far anyway.

Though it is likely that this will change in 9.1.5.

Normal & Heroic; yes
Mythic; you may need 2 or three of you

My caveat would be - “depends how familiar you are with the Boss fights on any given difficulty”.

NB: In Antorus;
Hounds of Sargeras (ideally) need to be kept apart as much as possible for an efficient kill.
Aggramar’s push-back may be a barrier to how soloable he is.

Did solo most Legion raids on normal / hero during BfA. Stuff like Nighthold, Tomb of Sargeras or Antorus might get difficult at certain encounters / endboss though since they have some running mechanics that are better done with two people. Take a look at Eonar or Coven of Shivarra guides from Antorus and you’ll get what I mean.

I’d suggest you try normal first and use Youtube guides for the difficult ones.

No.

There should always be a group up. Otherwise make one and grab a few. However it depends on the boss (and your class/spec) whether you faceroll them or not. They have said they are going to make legion raids easier to solo in the mini patch (either that or 9.2. Havent paid that much attention to it)

My Rogue was able to 2-man ToS Hc with a Frost DK at L50 (L110, as was)… IIRC
My most recent solo venture into a Mythic Legion Raid was Nighthold, back in June on my Frost DK… he got the first three done, but it was late in the evening.

EDIT:
The ‘short version’ is that how doable any Raid is as a solo & the confidence/competence of the player in question will be the main factor.

The first couple of raids are definitely soloable but Antorus is still a bit difficult and, for some bosses, impossible but 9.1.5 should fix that soon.

My Prot-adin & my step-daughter’s DK owe Aggramar a kicking, from a cpl. years ago… hence the Aggramar reference, above.

Here is some new’s

Emerald Nightmare and Nighthold on normal/heroic you could do. For Mythic - not enough geared. Some boss mechanics require at least 2 players on mythic and prooobably you could do nighthold(probably would get some problems with Guldan), better get 220+ gear(it’s easy right now) and you would have ability to do Nighthold mythic

I think I did Nighthold Mythic solo in parts at the end of BfA. Had M+ gear though and remember needing help from Krosus onwards. Might be easier if you have a class with healing spells.

It was pretty easy with corruptions even Gul’dan. However since pre-patch squish it became (pretty much) impossible for a while. It is do able now on my DHs at 225, my 243 it is easy now.

You could do it on a WQ geared alts with a few corruptions in 8.3

After watching a streamer solo Mythic KJ on a warrior I decided to give it a go on this DH…got owned I couldn’t get Avatar down.

Just a tip if you are not aware. There is often groups doing the old raids in the Legacy group finder. Most of the time people there are really nice and helpful.

Neither of that mentions the real issue which is the scaling of legion raids and how broken it is.

Its not broken it is intended. Well Ion says so…

Why do you have to always pick the negative with me i was just trying to help the OP that was all .

cos i’m done sugarcoating what blizzard has said regarding legion legacy content. A year of gaslighting the playerbase is inexcusable.

To the OP, Legion will get a proper legacy scaling with 9.1.5, along with select nerfs like Eonar.

However, you can complete most of them in Normal in solo, but will take more or less time - mobs aren’t that dangerous. So not a 1 shotting, but more like doable in a decent pace.

Pretty much all legion bosses beside a few like KJ, fallen avatar or most of Argus’s should be soloable around that ilvl at least up to heroic, for most specs. I’d say all 7.0, 7.1 & 7.2 raids should be soloable in mythic too but illidan may be a bit difficult to handle without enough DPS.

My 220 havoc DH can solo everything beside mythic KJ (think it’s doable but couldn’t bother after a few death) & any bosses after Eonar, as the encounter is extremely difficult to solo & I couldn’t go any further.

9.1.5 will severely nerf most of the “hard/impossible to solo” bosses of legion fyi

Do note that the fights will all take between a few dozen secs to a few minutes despite the legacy raid buff as this content is not that old & legion had a massive power inflation & thus increased HPs.

I’d recommend you use SL’s systems, gear and BFA essences I’d you farmed them. Some, like Blood of the enemy, scale extremely well at lvl60 (baseline +30% crit dmg & +25% crit chance iirc) unlike the dmg procs.
