I was doing the DK class hall quest in Legion remix and got to the “The King Rises” quest, which is located in Stromgarde Keep in Arathi. However i don’t know if its due to the volume of people doing the quest at the same time, but a Death Gate spawns right infront of the crypt after you carry out the objective.
It turns out if you accidentally click the gate (like me and about 7 others did at the time) or get TPd away for whatever reason, theres no way of getting back to that location in Legion Remix, there isnt a portal in the Ebon Hold to return there or anything. you can TP to Stormwind, but you can’t fly out of the zone because it flags you as “leaving the timeline” So unfortunatley it seems like if you also do this, you’re locked out of completing the Class hall quest any further…
Unless anyone knows another way back? 
There is a comment on Wowhead from just now about this situation
Just use the Dalaran Crater portal (in Dalaran for me as Horde) and fly from there. It may say you are about to leave timerunning, but keep flying fast, and you will make it back there.

Same thing happened to my DK - and many others. If you accidentally key the Ebon Hold portal of another player instead of keying the quest icon that appears in exactly the same position, then it screws you.
I abandoned the quest and flew back to Arathi, ignoring the messages about leaving the timeline, picked up the quest again, keyed the correct icon this time then the Ebon Hold portal appears and use that to get back and hand in the quest. Ignore the message that tells you to use the portal in Tirisfal Glade to return to Orgrimmar - it doesn’t exist.

Nope, does not work I just tried.
I’ve the same problem, i’ve tried to abandon the main quest and now i can’t progress at all.
I’ve submitted a ticket to at least restart the chain quest, and this was the response:

Still not doable, the “just fly into the castle at max speed” does not fix this, if u just have remotely good ping IT WILL port you to dalaran…
Its possible to continue the quest below 50 using the method above.
Unfortunately, if you’re over level 50 - Stormgarde takes the form of the Warfronts so Legion kicks you out of Stromgarde and teleports you straight back to Dalaran.
