I’ve managed to get my Pathfinder 1 and 2 for flight in Legion content but wonder - other than completionism is there any point rep grinding to exalted other than with Nightborne and Highmountain?
As far as I can figure out there would be no real benefit unless I wanted specific items which I presume are all superseded in BFA?
Like said above, there is no real point unless you’re into mounts/achievements. Obviously Highmountain and the Nightborne also have allied races behind them, so they’re a little bit different.
But basically once you reach exalted with each faction, you get “paragon” rep and every 10k rep you earn you have about a 5% chance to get a mount. That’s a lot of farming by the way , so if you want to do it just be prepared.
As Papudeath explains, there is a point to doing so as it’ll grant you access to those factions’ Paragon rewards, which includes mounts to add to your collection. That is a fair bit of a grind and the mount rewards are not super common but if you have the time and interest for it, it’s certainly worth doing. Once you hit 120 and get geared up it’ll be relatively easy to go through the Legion Emissaries for this especially if you also unlocked flying in the Broken Isles.
Finally, all those Exalted reputations will add up for the X Exalted Reputations meta-achievements that come with special title rewards and even a mount!
