So i was thinking of doing solo Legion Raids for transmogs and some gold but i read in some places that they were hard to solo because of scaling or something.
Is this still the case?
Can i solo MC/HC Raids of Legion and if i can what would be the min ilvl ?
It is hard, much harder than in BfA even, it is broken though Ion says it is intended. Mythic Gul’dan is a block for many in Nighthold (I cleared it with ease in 8.3 - but struggle now 218 DH) , personally I’ve not tried more than that. I don’t care what they say it is broken and poor from them. There is nothing to do in SL, farming Legion and BfA would be nice right now but you need to be near mythic geared and the right class to stand a chance.
Wow. Jesus christ. How about HC Legion dungeons ? Are they broken too ?
They should be easy (never tried) . I do farm with caution mythic freehold but I use inv to skip trash as it destroys me now (I neo’ed them (matrix reference) in 8.3)

For mythic i recommend you to join a 1 class per raid group if you dont mind sharing loot, from my experience mythic ToS isnt hard except the first and the last 2 bosses. Havent tried normal/heroic raids but they shouldnt be to hard.
As a Hunter ilevel 139, Legion Dungeons will be no problem at all, on any difficulty.
BfA Heroic Dungeons will not be faceroll, especially the bosses with mind control, but you might get through most of them.
as i said in another thread just now that i got decent gear i am able to solo most of the mythic encounters up until the last bosses of antorus
i just dont understand why blizzard doesnt buff legacy damage, legion was 2 expansions ago so i say it’s time that it became trivial content
I agree. I am an old player stopped playing around MoP times and i got a new acc after loosing my old one so i would like to do old raids/content after MoP without a problem just to experience them really. I can’t wrap my head around why Legion would be hard at this point.
You can solo Legion raids on heroic, and some on mythic, but you cannot solo all on mythic. What you can solo on mythic is mostly unpleasant, takes way too long. What’s ridiculous is that at times this is harder than it used to be back in BFA. I mean, it’s true that I can now solo a couple of things I could not solo in BFA (mythic Ursoc). But it’s also true in the other direction (mythic Kil-jaeden, etc).
It’s broken.
On main Souldefiler I can solo Emerald Nightmare mythic and Nighthold mythic is a breeze all the way upto "The demon within phase on Gul’dan, where you need incredibly fantastic burst to get through the encounter before parasite kills you. Haven’t tried the others but before squish i was soloing them all upto Eonar heroic.

How do you clear Guldan? I get destroyed by the debuff.
Balls out everything - need pots, flask, drums, oils the lot. And even then I don’t manage it everytime.
I should try it again now that my gear is higher, I think like 10-15 ilvls lower I was far away from killing him even with double ice block.
Also should probably go fire for burst 
Just a few tips. I was usually complaining alot how the scaling works. It’s still absolute garbage so don’t get me wrong. But with many of us nearing 220+ ilvl bracket, it’s now possible to solo Aggramar and Argus on mythic for quite some classes.
DH tank - Possible with Mirror of the Blademaster trinket that drops from HFC. Very difficult to execute though. Took me quite some tries for the first time to down him. Can easily clear him now. Argus is just a glorified target dummy that takes ages, barely hits a tank otherwise.
Hunter, Warlock - Pets can tank Aggramar, which means that the Technique that is the only issue, is completly negated.
Classes with insanely high burst (Fire mage, retri, boomkins) can burst their way through phases, and then just stick in the intermission (letting all adds explode), and kiting the 2 big adds until all CDs recover. Drums / BL are needed for P2 (80 % to 35%). For mages and boomkins, mirror images ( force of nature also do the job of taking one technique, which means those 2 classes can get 1 technique and it’s all good.
Still difficult, too difficult. The bosses should have hp & damage reduced by 50%, same as the HFC debuff.
Given the current content drought (with no sign of anything before August) this one simple change would give us something to do.
I was disappointed that farming the mounts from BfA dungeons is not something that’s a smooth run yet 
Yeah, we can all see it, there is an army of people that are happy to farm old raids solo (I know this triggers the ‘go play Skyrim’ lot) with there being little to do, just fix it. Also please, please, please put a portal in SOO, for the love of god. I have every tmog for every class in there and just need the mount.

Galakras took me ages to figure out and even knowing how to do it it’s still a pain. And I can’t solo Spoils (I’m just too slow). Thankfully my community is really helpful and I got the mage mog set from there for the achieve. Wouldn’t mind the mount though…
Today I tried mythic Gul’dan with my 210 destro lock. Without any buffs or consumables I got wrecked by the parasites every time. got the demon to about 20%.
Took flask, potion, drums and food and nuked the hell out of the demon with necrolord shield on and it wasn’t even close I killed him fairly easy.
