Whats the problem with the mine ores in TBC? For example im in Tanaris in the insect caves and theres only 2 ores in 4 caves? The 2 big caves have 0 ores and the little ones 1 ore each. Im looking at some minning guides and the maps that they show you there are full of ores. But in reality you find like 8 ores per map. Not only in Tanaris, in Thousand Needles, Redridge Mountaints, etc… Is this a joke? Ok you wont find ores at every yard, but i think this is too much. And i am the only one minning there.

Gathering guides with maps show icons where it is possible for nodes to spawn. This doesn’t mean there will always be one at that spot, just that their data has recorded one spawning there before.

But in caves is where you find more ores. How is it possible to not find any single ore in the 2 biggest caves from Tanaris? And very strange 1 ore in the little caves.
Because they don’t need to be in the caves or maybe someone already picked them… You are not the only person with mining.
I Know im not the only person minning but ive been minning from 125 to 175 without pause never seen a character minning. Also the mine from Hillsbrad Foothills had 0 ores and nobody was there. Ive tried 2 times and 0 ores. I dont believe that i had bad luck because someone was faster than me. 0 ores in 2 trys. This is ver strange
On my server… in Tanaris… the caves are camped by lvl 70 rogues who mine there from time to time. You are just not alone.

It is definitely tuffer , another thing forget staying in the cave doing a small ten-fifteen people bg then reloading and mining the ores again they nerfed that too and you will only have one ore back after 25 minutes and some of the ore spawn will be of lesser quaity like iron if all spawn were mithril etc… nowaday it require you to move lots of map and place and have a fast mount.

Trust me, when you come to Winterspring to mine Thorium… you will see more rich thorium veins than actual mithril ones in Tanaris. Aside some farmers and bots here and there, it’s heaven there.

More than likely true, doesn’t change the fact than the respawn time seems longer and there seem to have less ore.
I too play and farm at evry kind of hours since years , another thing winterspring because of the map layout isn’t very efficient for mining it is usually better to have the ore spawn more close or a map less difficult and long to travel but as another player already made a thread a week ago about it they nerfed that too burning steppes doesn’t give as much thorium as it use and more dark iron and less nodes.

For sure its much tougher something strange is happenning. Rogues who camp are in High Zone levels not in tanaris xD . And maybe hes camping but at least i could find 1 ore… I think all gathering got a big nerf. Less nodes and more respawn time. In my server copper ores are 50s each. Iron ore 1g each. Fel iron ore 48s each. A bit strange. Maybe because bots farm in high level zones, dont know.
I remember having all kind of place to make some money i can now call the cat and say some since it doesn’t give anything anymore like north feralas cave was 3 mithril spawn or sometime two and a trusilver now and in all kind of place it doesn’t work anymore, only one ore back 25 minutes later and the quality decrease same for burning steppes and other popular place less thorium more dark iron more respawn time, i did not notice a difference in herbs quality/spawn time quota , I do mining and herba gathering by the way.

Add to that than on some realm (already on mine and it is a small rp pve realm…) the price of som primal already dropped like primal water being sold 8 g … I do not even think what it is on high population /pvp realm.
8g? Better buy all of those off to profit from it in P2 lol. It’s still 17+ on mine.

Ive been for 2 horas in Hinterlands. And i havent seen any player. Just some hordes leveling. Anyway hinterlands has more ores than Tanaris
Have you seen the underground mining bots as well?
They were a pest in Vanilla, they are a pest now. Try go there with a hunter, track humanoids, see them speeding along underground and mining - some cheat!

having mining means that you are competing against bots with stealth & flying hacks, so consider yourself lucky whenever you find any expansive Ore-Veins

Flying hacks? Everybody Knows about bots but never heard about flying
More common on PvE servers I heard. Bots teleporting to terocone and what not.

but it’s nothing new to classic, i recall during original tbc-wotlk-cata Those flying hackers was flying with alot of lvl1 character on starting zones/city’s then drop dead on group to leave their corpse in perfect position where it says the html address for their gold selling sites.
