I’d rather do just the final boss as the last quest of a leveling expansion to hit 50.
It would be awesome, but sadly I’m not convinced the AI could handle it. In the beta, an NPC repeatedly breaks a certain stealth effect in the Maw story intro & they shouldn’t be able to, for example.
You could chance the mecanic for this storyline and keep it as intended for legasy mode.

It’s possible, but can’t see why it’s needed. LFR is doing the job(more or less)
You can’t LFR old expansions, OP is talking about using chromie time I think, so raiding ICC or Dragon Soul etc.
But by the time you finish the leveling process for each chapter you will be able to solo all of those raids and experience the story for yourself if you so wish,.
So i don’t think it is enough of a reason to ask for such a big thing as NPC raids.
A more fitting solution to me would just be a level 50 quest once you’re done leveling to go clear the raid for a toy or something.
I think Chromie would break the emersion of the char. But kinda yeah
Isn’t using Chromie better for immersion? Instead of randomly jumping through time like you do now with no explanation (Cata to 60 > BC/Wrath to 80 > Cata to 90), Chromie sends you back in time to do it instead.
Well if you are a new player who level up in Pandaria from 10-50 you most likely dont know chromie.
For me she would be rather random to put in at the end of a leveling exp
New players are forced to play BfA > Shadowlands though.
And you talk to Chromie before you begin, she sends you back in time, once you hit 50 she’d come back and tell you that you can do Shadowlands stuff if you wanted.
That might be true. but it is a hollow exp from my point of view
that would be great if implemented as a part of leveling experience.
Someone already made a video on this and that would be really fun. Instead of simply grinding the same fetch quests that are identical in just about any expansion you choose.
What is the difference between slaying auto attack boars in Hellfire Pen and slaying auto attack wolves in Borean Tundra? None!
But with this system you would embark on a journey to experience the actual expansion. You choose WOTLK and you actually get to fight The Lich King at the end of your leveling experience. Exploring Ulduar, Naxxramas and the dragonshrine raids in between as well.

They have done it in a quest, where you went to black temple with NPcs …
