What is the point in having to start over with all your action bars, cosmetic stuff, achievements, etc, just to skip Outland?

Mobile games would be better for you I think. Maybe something like Raid Shadow Legends.

I was against putting retail things on classic, but creating a brand-new character at level 70 is closer to retail than just skipping the boring outland I’ve done countless times.
You mean retail where you never have to set foot in Outlands ever again? You’re right, skipping Outlands is definitely nothing like retail.

The point of the boost is to allow players who didn’t play the previous expansions to play with their buddies who did.
Boosting an existing character means you played the previous expansion and therefore the boost is not for you.
What do you mean by skip Outland?
Even back in original WoW you probably did Outland countless times as I did. I expected to do the same in Classic, because that’s the whole point.
