Let's appoint the new horde leaders here

Nathanos never goes in the toilette without askin to sylvanas. Not a good leader. dont you think?

I’m on board!

I like him, I think he also will make good choice. However I think Nathanos is what the writers want.

is good as bedside carpet.
The perfect one would be Rexxar. But he is a lone wolf

Orcs - Thrall
Forsaken - cant think any what would work out this point.
Warchief - Rokhan but quess its going to be Thrall once again

The council should just be Thrall, Baine, Lor’themar, Thalyssra, Rhokan, Ji Firepaw, Geya’rah, Gazlowe, Lillian Voss and finally Mayla Highmountain.

The Council of Ten

To hell with Nathanos, he’s just a glorified sex toy.

hmmm I think that Panda Jiji alone is enough as Warchief.

I would not mind if they killed him after one patch also.

He’s already the leader of the Darkspear by default after Vol’jin died.

Nathanos left the Horde with Sylvanas, he might not be at her side right now, but he’s not in the Horde.

Won’t ever happen. WoW is at the moment a two-sided MMO. Both sides are populated by players, so one side will never win against the other.
The best you can hope for is a never ending stalemate.

Very unlikely, as that would mean she would (for no reason at all) make the Alliance her enemy. She’s been a neutral character so far.
Unless they permanently remove the faction war or something.

Same deal with Alonsus… He’s cooperated with both sides in the past, and even Anduin personally. I just can’t see why he would decide that the Alliance would be his enemy all of a sudden.
(Unless they permanently end the faction war)

But I admit Blizz has rarely cared about what makes sense for characters in the past, as long as they could just keep the Faction War going.
Highmountain Tauren and the Nightborne come to mind.

So of course Calia or Alonsus could suddenly decide that “I hate the Alliance now, for no reason!” if the writes made it so.

Forsaken Leader: Calia Menethil, obviously
Orc Leader: Thrall, since he is back he might aswell
Troll Leader: Zappy boi!

As for new warchief, Anduin Wrynn, I mean, doh.

But isn’t that where they’re going?

Now that Sylvannas has been outed, it appears that Thrall, Baine, Jaina, and Anduin see each other as would-be-friends.

The faction war is over.

Patch 8.3 and the next expansion will likely see Horde and Alliance work together again against a common foe. Calia will fit nicely into that mix.

The fact so many people want the forsaken to turn into some Teletubbies wannabe faction and kill the very essence of what Forsaken represent just make me sad…

Time to cool off by ganking some low level Alliance players.

The First Soviet Republic of Kalimdor!

Players of the Horde will lose all their money. Only one faction to farm reputation with, The Bureaucrats. There you can order stuff you will get for free, but depending on your reputation you have to wait from 2 to 20 years for your new mount. This new mount will be rusty right from the start tough.

Calia makes sense if she is a queen without power. If an elected council rules while she sits on the throne.

Also the horde lost the 4. War. So the Alliance just might dictate a peace treaty , maybe in a train wagon close to Ironforge ;), where the force the horde to make Calia, an Alliance friendly character, Queen of the Forsaken (Kingdom of Lordaeron. They stay part of the Horde because meanwhile they identify themselves as members of the Horde.

I dearly hope they weite a book about the peace treaty. How different interests if different characters in the Alliance collide. While Anduin wants to spare them Nightelves and Anduins people, who suffered from this war the most, want to punish them hard.

I hope Orgrimmar, Thunderbluff and Silvermoon get occupied and Horde players start an resistance movement to free our people.

Edit: Typo

Yes, but only if that peace is permanent… That Calia joins the Horde as the new leader of the Forsaken as an enemy of the Alliance in the nigh-inevitable Faction War reset that comes in the next expansion after that doesn’t make much sense…

“Thanks for your aid in bringing me back from the dead Anduin, now please die!”

I don’t think Forsaken players would appreciate a “toothless” leader though…

The Horde didn’t lose, more accurate to say that the Horde had a civil war at the same time as the Faction War.
One side of the civil war was allied with the Alliance, while the other was at war with it.
One side of the Horde lost the war, the other did not.

I for one, hope they’re done with this Faction War for good…
By all means, create a new Sylvanas led faction that is playable and at war with the Horde and Alliance (but make Horde and Alliance just two parts of the same coalition). Not enough people to populate three factions that are at war with each other.

If they write the Faction War back in again then I’ll probably find something else to play.
Been doing the Faction War on and off now for 14 years, I’m ready to see something new. Instead of the same thing, over and over and over again…

I think there’s validity in speculating about the premise of the next expansion.
But you’re speculating about the one after that. And based on your conclusion, that is why Calia won’t be the leader of the Forsaken.
No offense, but I’ll take the obvious hints that’s in the story here and now, over your foresight into a future far far away.

Vote for me and I will prove otherwise.
