Let’s hope Blizzard is starting with the necessary adjustments in 9.1.5.
Yeah, no. The only ones that actually look better on on horde are: Belf female and that’s it.
While I like how trolls look, I wouldn’t call them better looking than any of the night elf race.
trolls are actually the ancestors of nightelves
I resubbed to WoW after being away since Cata, because of the BFA cinematic. I thought that we were finally going to get a faction war expansion. That alone caught my interest, because nothing else in the WoW universe does or ever did.
So would I like WoW to be a copy of Guild Wars 2, setting-wise, when it comes to PvP? No, of course not. Because it has zero effect on the world. Neither lore-wise or in-game wise.
Arenas could perhaps still make sense, but then we’re talking Final Fantasy 14 levels of importance.
If you get this, then I will wish you the best of luck with it, and I really hope you will enjoy it. Who knows? Perhaps you would even have players return to the game, because of it?
But people like me, would definately leave and not return.
Then again, I got 5 days left of my sub (after unsubbing), so I really shouldn’t have much of a say in this anyway. xD
Platinum WoW have started a new series on Patreon which is available for his patreons where he talks about WoW-related stuff, and in episode 1 he projects a world revamp of Azeroth and a faction coalition if not a faction merge in next expansion.
I like this idea, although I’ve always thought 3 factions could be fun too. Unfortunately, I don’t think a merger will ever happen simply because the faction change $ is too tempting for Blizzard - it’d be interesting to know what revenue they bring in off this service and if it could be offset by bringing back subs though.
I would like them to just remove all racials from the game so everyone could actually play what they want. no more meta chase thanks
Removing racials wont help anything but affection the racial choice of the e-sport players in the tournaments none cares about. People will still flock to Horde because that is where the playerbase are.
It’s amazing how Blizzard managed to manipulate so many people into believing that this cuddling with the other faction and the “fight against a bigger evil” crap is the new normal, up to a point where the players even fight for a faction merge.
It’s also amazing that Blizzard managed to reach this point, which makes it easy for them to weasel out of the faction imbalance problem, by doing basicly nothing to prevent WoW running into this problem.
It is amazing how many nostalgically warmongers manages to manipulate so many people into believing that this fighting the other faction and the “it is us versus them”-crap is the new normal, up to a point where players even fight for an all out faction war.

I just got reminded of the Tauren quest giver in Azshara - the one from vanilla. He was parked in the Night Elf camp westmost in the zone, and Alliance players had no issues conversing with him. Sadly he got removed in Cara revamp, I would love to see more Alliance-friendly Taurens. For not to say be able to actually visit Thunder Bluff.
Jesus, we’re all on the same page here.
Lets not!
For real.
Lets have a faction merge ! ( Alliance LFG (PvP) is dead help )
It’s time for that before the Alliance dies.
Rip Alliance
I agree, the faction divide is outdated. We should remove all quests where people of different races mutilate, belittle and torture each other, and replace them with quests where everyone fights for a common goal. WoW should be a game about multiculturalism and people learning to live in harmony.
Let’s also scrap some races too, no need for Pandas, those Horde furry goblin things, Void Elves (just a rip off BE), Kul Tirans, and Nightborne
Leak said that 9.2 has the faction merge
( Fate of Eternity )
Let’s have a faction merge in 10.0!
Great, i will uninstall at once.
