It’s not garbage.

I don’t know your goals obviously, and I can only speak for myself, but my own goal was to reach Duelist. I succeeded at doing that on several caster Mistweaver during all Dragonflight seasons.
Better players than me, like Mysticall, make it work at 2400+.

Is it weaker than other healers? Yes.
Is it weak? No.

So if you enjoy it, then go ahead and play one, you’ll eventually make it work.

I have been playing mw caster for a very long time and in season 4 in solo (where I play at 2300-2400 mmr), mw is not as good as other healers.
Heal itself is very strong, but one interruption or a micro cc and someone can die.
To start healing with strong channeling you lose more time than other healers who immediately has instants and strong defs.
There are many more examples, but this is not the point. MW caster needs some more rework, without losing uniqueness.
