Hi. I would like to leveling some characters. it takes a long time to level up? Or is there a trick to not take too long?
- During Timewalking event weeks, doing Timewalking dungeons gives extra XP.
- As healer or tank, you have very short Dungen Finder queue times, so you can power-level quite quickly in that way.
Select Legion Chromie time and do invasion points that are giving bonus xp.
Pick an expansion you really like then work your way through doing all the bonus bits as well as quests. Queue for dungeons at the same time and also mine/herb as you go.
You can’t access timewalking until you are level 50. 1-50 has to be done through Chromie.
I’d like to make sure that you know that whichever route your journey will take, they’re all rather fast. You will hit maxlvl in notime, friend.
Install azeroth auto pilot addon, select speed mod and do absolutely whatever the addon tells you to do. It takes me 3 days to do from 1 to 60, and I am the slowest leveler ever.
BFA questing.I leveled a character so fast i didn’t even see the whole campaign story of BFA(that was the original plan).
Still. other expansions with their quests are fast as well.
Select Cataclysm/Classic at Chromie and go dungeons. You’ll get enough quests that each one is about 2 levels. Queues will be shorter if you can tank or heal, but at peak times can be pretty reasonable even as dps.
Levelling in the open world… well, tbh, I think I can 10-50 in just 2 zones in Pandaria, and most of the quests there scale sensibly. Unfortunately this does limit you to queueing Pandaria dungeons, which are less popular and will almost always hit 5 minutes then ask if you want to queue for “any”…
Frankly it’d speed up if “queue any dungeon at all” was an option at the start.
Spam Chromie Classic Dungeons and kill mobs in any 1-50 area while que pops. 16-24 hours max.
Does not take anywhere near as long as it used to.
Just play at your own pace and you’ll be where you want to be in no time at all.
There really is no rush right now to level A.S.A.P in the current state of the game especially at the end of a expansion as well, unless you plan to farm mythic+ in season 4 there really is not much reason to play endgame.
BfA is really fast. Treasures give around 3k exp and you find a lot of them. Quests are easy for the most part.
I would say the same thing.
Take Mining and Herbalism as your professions, you get quite a lot of exp from nodes while you walk around doing quests/waiting for dungeons.
Keep questing and be in queue for dungeon or BG all the time and also pick herbing and mining.
Keep in mind the darkmoon fair. The first sunday of each month lasts a week and you can get 10% exp buff there. I can’t remember if its monsters killed or general. If you have done BFA get them 5% experience elixirs. 1-49.
looking when you posted, maybe you are already at 50 …
if you have unlocked them, choose the allied races, in this way a fifth of the work is already done, plus you have an achievement and an original set
We had a 50% XP week recently.
You could’ve lvled your characters then.
Pick Legion or WoD timelines, it’s so streamlined even if you’re paying 25% attention to the game while watching netflix on another monitor it will take like 10 hours tops.
