Level 50, stuck at cataclysm timeline

Anyone know how to go to current timeline? I am level 50, I ve done half Nazjatar questline but the dungeon finder still only allow me to que for cataclysm timeline.

I am also unable to start the war campaign for bfa.

logout/login does not work. Talking to chromie has no option.

  • Chromie has identified level 50 players stuck in Timewalking Campaigns and will safely extract them the next time they’re in the open world so that they may queue for Battle for Azeroth dungeons

If you are still having the issue I think you’ll need to do a bug report. You can try making a ticket as well in case a GM can correct that for you. I don’t know if that’s in their power atm though.

Sorry if it feels like I’m injecting my personal agenda here but honestly this wouldn’t be a thing if they just didn’t try to force people out of Chromie time and just let them in and out freely.

I made a ticket but the average wait time is 6+ days :frowning:

In the meanwhile my character is useless cause its not only BFA content… I tried to do Hellfire Citadel raid for transmog but I get message that I cannot enter the raid while I am in timewalking event…

So I can literally do nothing atm with that character.

nope :frowning: I made a thread on customer support too. It seem that I have to wait for a GM to fix it. Its still a bug. Someone suggested me to delete and un-delete the character but I am not at home now to try this.

Clearly this is Alliance bias and wouldn’t happen to an Alliance character! They fixed it for Alliance but not for Horde! I’m going to write up a new thread about this!

The more I read these the more I’m inclined to just level my 45-46 toons through arch & gathering professions rather than any expansion.

Have you been back to chrome? She gives an option when you talk to her to return to you’re own timeline.

the option is only for characters below level 50. Once you get 50 it automatically returns you to current timeline.

The bug is rare, many people have no issues with Chromie time. When things go wrong it is unfortunate especially if you have to wait for a GM to rescue you and there is a long ticket time.

You are free of course to choose whatever method you like to level, you don’t even have to use Chromie time.

A GM just contacting with me and solved the issue! so I am back on track :stuck_out_tongue: ready to do some bfa content! Oh btw, to avoid open another thread, I would like to ask something else.

I wanna do the Legion order hall campaign for the class mount. While waiting on missions, do I need to also do the quest achievement on Legion zones? I remember we got an artifact at the end of each zone. Are these requirements for the mount? Or I can just do other content while waiting for the table missions to complete?

I don’t believe the completion of zone storylines was required, I don’t remember doing it on alts.
