But it’s BFA content which should be done at level 50.
At level 60 you should have these things unlocked and only require to do the shadowlands content. Hope that makes sense. Otherwise what’s the point of boosting a character to 60 only to have to unlock these things again.
I mean I don’t mind doing it anyway. I’m just lazy.
Yes. But like I said that’s not the reason for it. I simply believe anything from BFA should automatically be unlocked with a level 60 boost, so you have time to do Shadowlands content.
For example the unlock of Nazjatar zone. And the unlock of assaults.
But if it is not unlocked, like I said I don’t mind doing it. Just find it a bit strange as I assumed it would be unlocked. That’s all.
And this is the exact reason why they don’t allow you to send your ‘‘armies of alts’’ to plunder the area. I asked this during Legion ‘‘why I can’t send all my max level alts to the Argus’’ and they replied ‘‘This will be an unfair advantage over the players who don’t have many alts.’’
If you would take someone’s advice, who has all mounts in the area;
It takes 1,5 hours (very fast questing / without giving breaks) for each alt to finish the quest chain to unlock the area to farm the mounts.
There is no point to send more than 10 alts to the area because of your waiting time (back in the days, I was farming with 13 to 15 alts but that is exhausting and not recommended)
Activate War Mode and farm them off-hours. You will find most of the rares are patrolling ready to kill.
Yeh, I understand your point. But the level 60 boost is just for boosting your level. Not completing the content for you. Otherwise there would be no quests left for you to go back and do.
I actually dont really agree that level boost should unlock content from older expansion. There is so much content in older expansion and its so much easier to do most of the things as you can one shot even elite monsters and bosses.
And since its much easier to get it I dont believe it would be fair to just make it even easier. If you want something from an older expansion you should still work for it, it would be much easier, but you are still “wasting your time” doing old content so it evens out…
Boosts used to give you more stuff though - they maxed your professions and unlocked some expansion systems (like in Legion), so in that sense they became worse than they once were (and cost the same).
Why? BFA’s content is locked behind a small amount of BFA content. A whole lot of other things don’t unlock - class mounts you still need to get, Argus remains locked, your garrison doesn’t get automatically leveled up, Suramar isn’t automatically finished.
You’re just paying to get a ton of exp. The rest is up to you.
For The Maw intro skip - you can skip it on any character as long as you’ve done it at least once, so it’s not really a feature of the level boost.
PS: Why do people ask to pay in order to not play the game…
I understand why they used to max out professions. But now the way profession levelling has changed to being expansion based, rather than starting at Vanilla and working your way up, there seems very little point in boosting professions anymore. Since technically everyone got that boost for free.
