So how does leveling squish work exactly?
I want to complete some Eastern Kingdoms questlines on this chara but I level too fast. (Don’t ask me why I use hairlooms or summer buff I can’t help myself.)
If I wait for Shadowlands, what lvl would this chara be if I got him to 60? Will I be able to do Old world quests normaly?
In BfA and previous expansions, the hero classes Death Knights and Demon Hunters began at advanced levels of 55 and 98 respectively. At Blizzcon 2019, it was announced that Death Knights and Demon Hunters would start at level 1, but it has since been announced that they will begin at level 8 in Shadowlands, and will play through their own starting experience.
Allied Races will begin at level 10 and can play through any of the 8 expansions.
Allied Race members who choose Death Knights do not start in the Death Knight starter zone, and begin life at level 10 like any other Allied Race member.
yes you will be able to do old world quest stuff normally.
Things scale to 50, SL to 60. I believe all content till Legion will get the “legacy” buff where you do like x100 damage when you’re 60.
What level will I be if I am lvl 60 now?
probably still level 8, i suppose they are rounding up or down.
You can just halve it, I think?
They might scale per xp needed to level.
But then they might just cut it in almost half.
The cap would be 130 without the squish so divide 60 by 130 and multiply your current level by that.
Just speculating but I imagine a formula like that, but as they are breaking expansion barriers down that won’t be a perfect conversion.
If now you are 60 in Shadowlands you will be Level 25

current lvl20 will be lvl10.
current level120 will be lvl50.
there is 100 levels and 40 levels difernece from above
i assume if your are level 60 now in SL u will be level 30 based on the % of levels between 20 and 120 (which is 50%) so in SL its 10+20=lvl30
then again its all assumption from my part
your level will not matter for the zone, as you will be able to level from 10-50 in any expantion, classic/cata, northrend, outland, etc
